Summary: Ok so I am giving the Kraken 3 stars because of the way they fit my head and the way the output from the mic sounds. First off if you have a bigger head like me this headset is tight like smashing my ears tight. I can wear it for about 30 mins at most before I have to take them off for a bit. second is the mic all of my friends say it sounds like I am in a hallway talking.
Summary: I bought this in April, it's now almost Christmas. This headset has performed perfectly. [NOTE: RAZER SYNAPSE SOFTWARE IS NEEDED IN ORDER TO HAVE 7.1 SURROUND SOUND] -When it arrived I was extremely excited, bought it with my birthday money! I had researched headsets for a while and for my budget, this one stood out. -Unboxing it was fun, the packaging is lovely - as is the headset! Looks great, and the lights in the earcups and mic look fantastic!

Summary: Fantastic sound quality for a headset and the microphone is great with huge amounts of comfort, I wear this headset for at least a few hours a day and I can just take it off like I have not been wearing anything. Only problem is the software sometimes stops the headset from working and the light on the right side of the headset has now stopped working after 6 months of use ( If my light still worked 5* easily).
Summary: Being my first razer product i thought i shouldn't spend too much money on my periferals and im glad i diddn't because i diddnt need to. the Krakens as far as im concerned are Unbeaten on sound, comfort, price and looks, these headsets have changed my gaming life forever, the software that comes with is clever stuff and can be calibrated to your ears which was nice because im somewhat deaf in my right ear, delivery date was a day overdue but that's no worry, it was well...
Summary: The headset sounds great, right off the bat. The only gripe/s, for me, is that they tend to press in rather hard against the sides of your head and become painful after prolonged use. Setting these up on my W7 PC was also annoying due to me having to manually select them from the device manager section within the O/S, as the computer failed to automatically select them over my default audio output (speakers).
