Summary: Bought these after another brand's didn't work because of interference. The 5.8Ghz frequency provides for interference free listening. They're not too heavy but are a little tight but should loosen up over time. Super easy set up and the base station glows which looks cool too. Good product and good price.
Summary: What can't you say of the Razer Chimaera 5.1, excellent headsets after trying other headsets I finally found what I'm looking for. So whats good about these headsets, 5.8ghz doesn't interfere with my Apple Extreme routers frequency, 50mm drivers gives it that loud sound but not surround in my opinion but does have great sound, distance while wearing the headset in my apartment was to my satisfaction, cosmetics of the headset and charging transmitter looks amazing, the...
Summary: These headsets are the best you can buy, no hiss whatsoever, no interfere with Wi-Fi or any other signals they work in 5.8GHZ, and they come with rechargeable batteries that charge while in dock with the base station. The sound quality is amazing both RCA and TOSlink. I personally recommend them to any gamer out there for music, gaming, moves and more!
Pros: No hiss, no interference, unique design, and rechargeable
Summary: I have a full-sized surround sound with new 7.1 receiver that I use for movies and games, but with a newborn baby I had to get a headset so I wouldn't wake the baby, now I try to find any reason to use my headset. I was looking at Turtle Beach X41s but I honestly didn't like how they look and I have always trusted Razer's quality for my computer components (plus the black color and retractable mic helps it look like it belongs as part of the entertainment center and...
Summary: So i bought these for myself for Christmas this year when they were on sale and i couldn't be happier. I had previously purchased a Turtle Beach X41 set that cost $179 dollars. They were 7.1 channel (simulated) surround sound and 2.4ghz wireless. They were horrible. After wearing them a couple hours they got uncomfortable. I had to replace the batteries before i had used them even a week.
Pros: 5.8 ghz, rechargeable, comfortable
Cons: stand is a little big, wish I could change the color of the accent light on the stand
Summary: My wife recently purchased the Chimaera 5.1 Headset for my birthday and I've used them religiously ever since. I've had a couple of headsets from Tritton and Turtlebeach and none of them have ever measured up to their cost vs. performance ($80-$150 for a wired headset w/vibrating simulated bass?! No thanks!).
Summary: i returned the turlebeach x31 due to it interfering with my xbox's wifi. so i researched these and found no cons on the headset. not only does it have a rechargeable docking stating but it has a lot of options! seperate volumes for both game and chat..dolby options..it's amazing and so worth the money..no lag in the sound..it it pitch perfect. a must have if you love hearing everything in the game.
Cons: a little tight on the ears...but will break in after use
Summary: This razer product lives up to its expectations. Its sound is great, its easy to use, and its surround sound actually works. You can hear if someone is coming from behind, in front, or on either side. I would recommend this product to any avid gamer.
