I purchased these for my husband as a Christmas gift ...

Amazon Customer, Amazon
26 December 2014
  • Summary: I purchased these for my husband as a Christmas gift. He's a PC gamer, and Razor has always provided quality products. These headphones do not include the cables necessary to use with a PC, he had to order the cable separately.

Broke after a few months

Kelvin J., Newegg
31 March 2014
  • Summary: Beware of buying Razer. Wasted a lot of money on Razer products only to be disappointed by faulty and lackluster products. Support is unhelpful and uncaring. I'm sure someone out there likes Razer, but everything I've bought from them have only disappointed me.
  • Pros: Comfortable
  • Cons: It stopped working after a few months for no reason. Battery life is bad. Razer support is awful.

Should have listened to the reviews.

  • Summary: Setup instructions leave much to be desired. Once I linked the headset to the base it took me 30 minutes to get sound to come through the headset. The input select button does not respond to being pushed the slightest bit too long.
  • Pros: Good sound.
  • Cons: Battery life is pathetic. The day I got this headset I let it charge over night to make sure it was fully charged. The longest time, before the batteries die, I get is 2 hours and 15 minutes. The majority of the time I only get about 1 hour and 30 minutes. In my opinion two rechargeable AAA batte...

HORRIBLE

Karl M., Newegg
24 May 2012
  • Summary: At this point, I was pretty impatient. I told her "Look, if the man told me I could return them for a full refund, I should be able to return them for a full refund! Are you really gonna let your company lie to me?
  • Pros: 20 bucks cheaper than of Razerzone.com, But I sure paid my 20 bucks, and then some.
  • Cons: Newegg forgot to send my headphones for 10 days. I called the company, and they didn't even apologize. I happened to ask if i opened the headphones, and they didn't fit, if I could return them and get a full refund. These headphones were literally half the size of my head. I fit the carchinas per...

  • Summary: First and last razer product.
  • Pros: look cool
  • Cons: 3.5mm to pc doesn't work, mic doesn't work with pc tech support sound clueless and a little. The scripted tech "escalate" my problem and it can take 3-5 days to get a replay...

Big mistake

Anonymous, Newegg
10 November 2011
  • Summary: The sound from this headset is no more better then the turtle beach x11's i've had for a year now, better base but that's where the story ends. Last time i waste money on a razer product!
  • Pros: It looks great....
  • Cons: 3.5mm audio is distorted when listening to music vocals are some how lowered to a whisper while the instruments are turned WAY up... When playing MW3 on my xbox the sound gets cranked up so loud i feel like my head is going to explode and when i turn it back down to a reasonable level 2 seconds l...

Owned better headsets

Echo, memoryexpress.com
13 April 2014
  • Summary: Definitely not worth the price or trouble. Definitely rather spend the $100 I spent on my plantronics headset again atleast with them I can go across the road to my neighbours and be in their basement and still talk to whoever on skype or whatever chat program I was running.
  • Pros: Wireless, comfortable to wear
  • Cons: Range in which headset works, has hard time staying connected when leaving room which base is in, nasty playback habit when plugged into the computer and talking on skype, like your friends really want to hear themselves, no usb connection for computer use (would of been nice) instead of having t...

I expect more for my money.

Taylor, memoryexpress.com
2 January 2013
  • Summary: There are so many other wireless options out there... Don't waste your time with the Chimaera. Returned it for a pair of G35's.
  • Pros: Wireless?
  • Cons: Took hours to setup for 360, keep in mind you CANNOT use HDMI on your Xbox if you want to use these, gotta go back to 720p cables for your Xbox to recognize the optical audio. Also in all seriousness it isn't a wireless mic... Only wireless for audio, you gotta plug it into your controller for mi...
