Summary: Great concept and design, but it's just a big hassle most of the time. I have it connected to my PC and Xbox and it ha the ability to change channels with the push of a button but getting it set up to work correctly was a pain in the ass since it can only receive one digital optical and one set of red/white R/L stereo hookups. In both situations, then you need another hookup for the mic to work and you end up using a minimum of four different cords hooked up properly.
Summary: I did not use it as a gaming headset, but as a movie headphone. Kept my parents quiet for a while. Actually bought the wrong item. I didn't know they have these as a 2.1 config. Actually saw these as a 5.1 headset. But it still packs a punch. Comfortable and light even when they are big. Good for prolong wearing. Easy to setup and pairing.
Summary: I needed a wireless headset (headphone + microphone) in order to get rid of the cables from the PC in my living room. I also looked for a headset that would recharge when you simply put it down on its cradle - plugging a USB cable into the headset just for recharging is nonsense these days. The Razer Chimaera fits the bill. It is wireless, and charging does start when you merely put the headset down on its cradle.
Summary: I've owned this headset for nearly 9 months. After about 6 months the batteries started fail and I can only get 6 hours worth of audio out of a full charge. More recently the paint has started to come off the headset in flakes, getting all over my hair. These two things have forced me to start the return process with Razer to get these replaced. If not for these two things the headset would have been perfect.
Pros: * Easy to clean * Long range * Quality microphone * Comfortable * Sound quality is decent
Cons: * Batteries have a poor life cycle * Low quality paint will come off in time
Good sound quality, battery life should be a lot better

Summary: The sound quality of the headset from playing Call of Duty MW3 and Black Ops 2 is great. You can hear footsteps easily with Sitrep Pro and Dead Silence/Awareness. However, the battery life is awful, I can't get more than 2 hours of gameplay with these on before I have to recharge it. The microphone works well too, just if you were wondering about that. I would recommend another headset because for the price, the battery life should be a lot better.
