Summary: I've owned the original charcharias for the pc. Decided to get this one because I liked the other. The 360/pc version, while different doesn't do this headset justice - See cons. Randomly, after one switch, the microphone mute button just completely broke. After. One. Use.
Pros: Comfortable over the ear cushion.
Cons: Random hissing noises. Cord longer than original PC version of the Charcharias The switches for voice volume, sound volume and bass, while nice, are too heavy for the location they are at. Microphone mute switch broke after one use.
Summary: Pretty disappointed I hate hearing the buzz noise everyday, but I'm not entirely that picky so I live with it. The headset works so thats all that matters really.
Pros: I got this headset cause it looked nice and it was cheap. It has pretty good sound quality, nothing amazing tho. However I'm coming from someone using $20 headphones so I personally think they have amazing sound quality. I'm not an audiophile tho. Long wire, has a little media controller to adjus...
Cons: After about couple weeks I randomly get buzz noises in my right ear phone which is quite annoying actually it happens like every day, however I've grown to ignore it, since it seems to stop if i play music or any type of sound at full blast or w/e. However If I'm just chilling I hear this really ...
Summary: If you are looking for a serious gaming headset then these aren't for you. Although I fully support Razer in their mice, and keyboards; The headsets aren't the best in the game. This headset is great for a moderate gamer who doesn't want to pay $100+ on a headset.
Pros: This is a pretty good headset for what your are paying for. -Sound quality is great, bass can be easily adjustable to you liking via the inline controller. -Nice long cable so you can easily push all the wires behind your desk -Good quality build. I have had mine for about 6 months, and they stil...
Cons: -The earpeice is cloth, which means any kind of hair or fuzz near those things will immediately attach to them. Needs cleaning about once a month. -After extended use the headset begins to hurt your ears (3+ hours i have found). -Mic quality is sub par at best. Because of the USB and analog conne...
Summary: Even with my friend recommending these I wish I would have bought something else. The hassle of just getting them to work properly is a bummer. 3.5 jacks are going south fast and USB is plowing the way. I know a lot of people who have the logitech 7.1 surround USB wireless and never complain.
Pros: Nice cushy ear pads, Cool Green Lighting, Great Sound, Good Voice Input and Clarity. My best friend had a Carcharias when they first came out so he highly recommended. I however did encounter the same static everyone else has mentioned, see Cons.
Cons: When I received and hooked up was getting bad static and it was super annoying. Did lots of research and some were led to believe it was because of low watt power supply and too many items pulling power. I have a 750 watt power supply so that was not the issue. Only after I hooked the USB into my...
Comfortable. An Ok buy assuming you can resolve the static issue youself.

Summary: My research indicated that the static in the headphones was due to either interference/noise from my PC components, or from outlets that are not properly grounded. I live in an apartment, so I really have no control over my unit's wiring/grounding.
Pros: 1. Very comfortable!! I wear glasses, so my biggest worry about getting over-ear headphones was that they would squish my glasses frame against my head. I was surprised to see how comfortable this headset is. No discomfort even after 3+ hour PC sessions! 2. Ok sound and audio. It's nothing magica...
Cons: Static!! I do not know how this product passed quality assurance (unless Razer engineers work in perfect white-rooms, and all of their devices and outlets are well-grounded and interference free). For this I am knocking off two eggs. Please see my other thoughts for how I fixed it.
Summary: I've tried the previous generation of Carcharias, the Corsair Vengeance 1300, and Creative's Recon3D with Tactic3D Sigma and Omega Wireless. The previous Carcharias sounded good, and this one sounds better, for the most part - music is full without sounding artificially boomy (once you turn the bass...
