Summary: the headset is comfortable to wear and while it worked with minimal static feedback, tech support is garbage and i would recommend trying something else.
Pros: When i first received this headset it was replacing a hold Microsoft headset and it was an excellent upgrade. after a solid 3 months of use things started to go down hill
Cons: After about 4 months there was an increasing amount of static feedback. the mic no matter what settings would pick up like phantom noise. after checking the Razer forums they had a solid of that your computer isn't completely grounded and that's feedback from your psu. try plugging it in to a wall outlet for its power. that didn't solve it. tried to get service from Razer and after 2 weeks of run around i was told that its out of service when their website has a year ...
Pros: Awesome headset till they die out and soo comfy.
Cons: Headset didn't even last a year. Total joke. First I had to stop using them because they started buzzing and started giving a lot of feedback. Plugged them back in a week later and now the other side doesn't work. Don't buy, but don't buy turtlebeaches/Mad Catz (Astros) either.. they're just as bad.
Summary: Use caution buying these. Maybe you'll get luckier than I did, but I wouldn't waste my money on these again.
Pros: I got these headphones when they were on sale for ~$47, and for that price, they were exceptional headphones. Sound quality was good (not amazing, but good overall) and the mic worked well. I never had any complaints in ventrillo/skype/teamspeak.
Cons: The right ear stopped working after about 2 weeks of little to moderate use. I may have used them for a total of 10 hours, and they completely crapped out on me. I get a slight buzz out of the ear piece, but for the most part, it is completely gone
Pros: The headset looks good, has good sound quality and is very comfortable to wear. I haven't heard the static problem that people are talking about even after 3 of these, and after hours of using it, I barely remember it's even on my head. I want to like this headset because it feels and sounds great, but...
Cons: As I mentioned, I've gone through three of these. The first one I had was almost 2 years old when it broke, but I think that was a fluke. I replaced it with the same model, and 6 months later the left speaker went out. I got it RMA'd, and this time it only lasted 4 months. The exact same problem has happened with this new pair - the left speaker's gone out - and I've looked around online to see that it's a common complaint. Overall, I'd say stay away from this. It mig...
Cons: Microphone wouldn't work. When checking the in line remote I noticed that the voice dial spun 360 degrees without stopping. Even if it weren't broke the remote would still be the low point of this headset as it feels cheap.
Summary: The quality of the headphones were fine, everything worked properly. I ordered these because my sister had bought this headset previously and it was not usb reliant. Well now they are and there is a horrible white noise that you can not get rid of due to the usb connection. I tried plugging it in to several different things that did not connect to my computer and the white noise persisted. Will not be purchasing USB reliant headsets ever again.
Summary: Really loved the shape and aesthetics of the headset shame that it fell short of the other models quality
Pros: Comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Really good sound especially with the bass control knob
Cons: I had the previous model that used 2x 3.5mm jacks. I really loved how comfortable they were and last 2-3 years. So I invested in this model since it is the same just the ability to work with the xbox 360 and the use of a usb cord to power the headset (which I thought was weird) Horrible white noise in the form of buzzing and changes to ringing and whistling at times. Tried many different things to fix this: 1. Different Ports 2. Plugged the USB port into a socket via ...
Pros: They work for the Xbox 360 mic doesn't though have to RMA them.
Cons: For the PC it has 3.5 connections but you have to hook the usb up for them to work. It has a horrible zzzzzzz sound in the back ground. I ended up having to hook it up to one of my IPhone chargers to remove the sound.
Summary: I probably should have bought the older version of these headphones, as they were perfect for me
Pros: The headphones are very comfortable, being as why I bought them (I bought the previous version a few years back, so knew what I was getting myself into)
Cons: The major flaw of my product is the fact that it's USB powered and it causes a static white-noise at all times. When music is playing or a movie is going, it isn't as noticeable, but still very annoying at times
