Great Headset, weak wires
Zeak Capelo, Amazon
Summary: I've had this headset for around half a year now, and I have to say it's a fantastic headset. The price tag on it is perfect for what you get. Though since i got the xbox360 version it does NOT come with a braided cord like most razer products do, this can cause the wires to be delicate to various things. So my mic wire recently ripped and I am talking to razer support about it now.
Summary: Constant static with no possible fix(without buying a new sound card)! It was very disappointing to spend that kind of money to have to just send it back. This was not the sellers fault. It packaged very good, and shipping was fast!
Summary: I am a bit of a Razer junkie and I was VERY disappointed when I plugged this headset into my PC and was treated with a nice bit of feedback. This is due to the fact that it requires USB power on top of the audio output & mic input. As my fellow Borderlands 2 team mate told me, "If your voice is at sound level 100, then the headset feedback is at at a 12." And the worst part, you cannot use this headset without the USB.
Summary: I bought this product expecting that there was going to be background noise from the USB and don't have any issues with it. There is no noise from the background and the headset is EXTREMELY comfortable. The sound doesn't go as loud if it is plugged in directly to a monitor but if you just redirect it through speakers they will go as loud as you would like. Best gaming headset I have had so far!
Summary: Amazing sound quality and the cords are super long so they easily reach my Xbox from across the room. They're really durable and take all the abuse I give them, the mic moves to anywhere you need it to be. I would totally buy again.....if I needed a new pair.
Summary: the headset is very comfortable but the background noise due to the USB input is annoying. I had the pervious version which was great. This one....not so much. I would probably send back if I could find the packaging.
Summary: I got the headset to work fine with my 360, aduio wasn't as loud as I thought it was going to be but it was clearer (I could sounds like foots steps Etc.) but I could not record any audio on the PC. I thought it was either my port or the Headset mic cord so I tested on 2 other PCs and had the same results except on the desktop I got static. So i came to the conclusion that the mic cord on the headset was bad.
