Summary: This does not come with a transmitter. I'm new to buying wireless headphones & I wrongly assumed these would come with whatever I needed to use them in my home. I had to email Tool King twice before I got a response on returning them. Tool King insisted I obtain a tracking number for my return.
Summary: I have a high frequency hearing loss, this is the best IR headphones I have used. I would recomended this product to a friend or anyone else with a hearing loss, I also plan to buy one or two more for spares.
Summary: I bought 3 of these to replace our old factory ones on our Honda Odyssey. Other reviewers said they worked and they do. Great sound and no set up. Alot cheaper than buying from Honda!! I just wish they were available in stores, to save shipping.
Conclusion: For this price they are a pretty good buy but the rear most passengers in my suburban's third row seating start getting white noise because they are getting too far. I havent bought a different brand to try out but I am almost positive its just a weak reciever in these headphones.
Summary: My Honda Odyssey's headphone that came with the van 4 yrs ago finally bit the dust and didn't realize I could buy any headphone that handled the IR signal. Came across these and read the reviews and thought I'd take a chance to which we were not dissappointed.
Conclusion: I bought 2 of this initially and it was so good I ordered two more 3 months after for use in the other car when the kids are in there. It is a reliable product and the protective pack for storage while in the car just assures that the kids can't mistakenly break this.
