Summary: I used to own the Plantronics Voyager 510 until my lovable dog got ahold of it and chewed off the mic. That headset was a beast. No issues, worked for 4 years, great call and sound quality, easy to pair, great battery life. So I decided to stick to Plantronics and get this model. It's a pain.
Pros: Clear caller sound (when it works) People tell me I sound great (when it works) Works great when listening to music or watching videos Feels weightless on my ear. Buttons are easy to press and find
Cons: Have to use the app to function correctly (android) Sensor doesn't work right Sometimes when paired, call cannot be heard and caller cannot hear me. Battery life shorter than expected
Summary: I don't know what to tell you on the "HD" part. I have used other bluetooth sets and they sound the same. It is sensitive, I do remote support in a shop-like environment, and sometimes the customer says something about the background conversations/noises.
Pros: Well fitting, easy to connect, good charge time. Can update via the java app, but no update has ever come out since purchase.
Cons: Disconnects alot, just idle or while in middle of conversation. I have to re-aquire link for stable connection(with company provided iphone 4). Sound becomes wavy even though the phone is 2 feet away on a desk, seems easily interfered with. Works well with my Samsung note, doesn't seem to drop of...
Excerpt: his started out working OK. The ear bud was uncomfortable but after a while it became tolerable. However the bud did break after a month of use. The volume is a little low and it is very tight around the ear. It is like wearing a hearing aid.
Pros: Connects Easily, Lightweight, Long Battery Life
Excerpt: Sound quality: Not so good. It sounded spotty when I moved around.Disconnection: It disconnected from the phone randomly when not in used (with the headphone remained on my ear), and sometimes it cannot be reconnected.
Pros: Fits well in ear, Lightweight, Long Battery Life, Noise Cancellation
Summary: I bought this for my wife and tested it with my Jawbone ERA and Blueant Q2. I found the bt to have low volume and sometimes I had to ask multiple times to repeat sentences because of static or muffled voice. This didn't happen all the time.
Pros: Easy to wear Good battery life Excellent outgoing audio
Cons: Big and bulky Sometime poor incoming audio Low max volume Pricey
Excerpt: Purchased to use with two devises, in the house working very well, challenges while driving, seem to drop one or the other phone frequently. Will keep on trying maybe it is me? Flying in two weeks will understand more then.A bit of a challenge, have not tried the super voice package.
Summary: The headset is great if you only plan to keep it for around a year.
Pros: The head set has great sound quality and stays in the ear very well. I have had a lot to of success with the voice clarity, thus enhancing the voice recognition of my phone, of this device, something I did not have with other headsets. It paired well with my POM Pro.
Cons: The workmanship is poor, mine broke after 11 months. The seam just above the mouthpiece broke (seperated). It is at the seam where the mouth piece swivels. It appears to be pressure fitted which over time fails with use. I hoped to get more use from the item considering that I paid more than $100...
