  • Summary: I bought this for the quality of sound and it can be used on either ear. This is my second set and currently looking for another one for a friend. Simple to hook up to cell phone. Best part was buying it on e-bay for a great price !!

Good Qulaity

Michael J., Newegg
5 February 2010
  • Pros: This product is very good and very clear. I has the ability to act as a stereo Bluetooth so that you can enjoy music on your phone. With that said, it also depends on the phone you have and also the volume of the player will never reach as high as you like.
  • Cons: Just wish I could have my ringtones play through it but I read an article that said its also possible. Am yet to find that out too.

Best headset I ever owned

Anonymous, Newegg
1 February 2010
  • Summary: I bought one of these a couple years ago, the first Plantronics product I had ever owned. It was so comfortable I'd often forget I was still wearing it. I never once had any trouble with battery life, and only on the windiest days was noise an issue for the other party. The only complaint I had was that, just past a year, it died. Nothing I could do would revive it. I went on to try out several different headsets, looking for the most highly recommended I could find.
  • Pros: Comfort, noise reduction, battery life, durability.
  • Cons: See Other Thoughts.

Still rocks

Timothy C., Newegg
29 January 2010
  • Summary: On my second one, first one lasted about a year or two, did not fail on me until I started to constantly folding it flat and open. Ask me, and I’ve been trough a lot of ear pieces, this is still the best one on the market.
  • Pros: Works great with the I-phone. Still has the best sound quality, especially for the person that has to listen to me. Works two phones, this is great for me for I got a company and personal cell. My buddy has a small ear and my ear is huge, we both can go all day and not know we are wearing them.
  • Cons: Sound is never an issue. Can take some getting used to keeping legged up with the Palm treo 680 and the Casio G’zone. Metaphorically speaking, once you learn how to pat the gas and work the choke just right it’s no problem.

Plantronics Voyager 510

Duong R., Newegg

  • Pros: Great sounding. Very comfortable. Noiseless operation. I have purchased two of these and love them.
  • Cons: Tiny on-off button often difficult to locate. Wish they could develop a better on/off switch.

Love it, buying 3rd one

Cevin M., Newegg
17 January 2010
  • Pros: Volume and comfort. After losing my first one, I tried both the 520 and 220, and I hated the new ear bud. It's like the volume is directed down to your ear lobe, and not your ear canal. That's why i went back to the 510. with as much wind noise as I get in my 11-year old Saturn, the difference is night and day. well, then my wife put it through the washer by mistake, so here I am, buying number 3.

Best Bluetooth Headset

Keith W., Newegg
15 January 2010
  • Summary: This was purchased as a replacement for my Cardo Scala. This headset works great and is even more comfortable than my Scala was. Overall I am very pleased with this product and recommend it highly. When they get all the bugs worked out of the Voyager PRO I may upgrade to it, but this is fine until then.
  • Pros: It's a Plantronics, so it just works and works well. I think this headset is an excellent value! It is very comfortable, so much so I frequently forget that I'm wearing it. Since purchasing this headset I've never received a complaint about poor sound quality. Many comment "did you get a new phone, you sound very clear." The sound output is loud (which is good for me), had to turn down the volume on my Curve by several notches. Makes "quiet" callers much easier to hear.
  • Cons: The range and BT link quality does seem to depend on the battery charge, so as the battery gets low the range and link quality decreases. Don't like the way I have to press the button for the voice dialer on my BlackBerry to kick in. Seems to be real picky about activating the voice dialer. My Cardo Scala was much better in that regard. The volume buttons are a little small and hard to use as is the power button (but I may be picky).

Wife loves it

Hal H., Newegg
21 December 2009
  • Summary: If she says it's good, it is very good.
  • Pros: My wife is picky. Her 3-yr-old $70 motorola headset failed. She is surprised this one is somewhat better.
  • Cons: none so far

Awsome

Phillip R., Newegg
20 December 2009
  • Summary: Those that say they sound like they are in a tin can... maybe they should get out of the tin can. Or maybe they should learn how to talk. It is a great earpiece. I am happy with the choice. I would recommend to everyone that they get this. I do expect it to go bad, all electronic devices do - especially if you use them every single day. I am thinking about ordered several more of them for the day that one does go bad so I do not have to go without using mine. I love it.
  • Pros: Comfortable. I can wear it all day and almost not even notice that it is on my ear. I have tried it in many different vehicles and different open environments and have gotten great feedback and have heard all of the conversations chrystal clear (except for those who mumble... what can i say...?).
  • Cons: Sometimes looses connection to my blackberry, might be me doing something wrong though.
