Summary: I keep returning it to plantronics hoping to finally recieve one that will last more than 3 months
Pros: I love this bluetooth when it work it works great. best working one I have owend. I like better than the jawbone which hurts the ear. The Plantronics Voyager 510 fits very comfortable. infact you forget its there. Its clear crisp great sound
Cons: I have had 4 of these in a year. They work great for about 3 months then just die. Plantronics was good enough to replace each one. they just seem to die for no reason. or no longer take a charge
Pros: - Can hear other party clearly with no distortions - Other party can hear me clearly when within range - Good battery life - Easy to operate - Wide range of functionality
Cons: - Doesn't come with USB bluetooth adaptor to pair with the PC (VoIP) - big disappointment - Earbud is foam based (I'd prefer silicon) and my ear gets sore after about an hour of continual use - The range of 33m is not valid (at least in my case). I own a Motorola v330 and I can't be further than ...
Summary: Connection performance has been mixed. Sometimes I can walk out of a room forgetting my phone and not get any static until I'm walking into a third room. Other times the connections are just crummy. I'd return it but its decent and it looks like most headsets out there are much worse.
Pros: Comfortable, lightweight. Good battery life. Usually sounds pretty good. Color scheme looks like it was specially made for my moto Q
Cons: often takes a second or two to take the call from my moto Q. Sometimes looses the connection when on standby for a while and the Q thinks they are atill connected. Requires cycling the headset and moto Bluetooth manager. Doesn't handle wind very well.
Summary: I've had this headset (510) for 9 months on two phones. It worked flawlessly with the T-Mobile SDA. I upgraded to the Blackberry PERL right around Christmas, and the 510 started having problems. Whether it's battery is already wearing out or it just doesn't get along with the PERL, I'm not sure.
Pros: excellent comfort, easy to use, clear signal, etc.
Cons: possibly short lifespan, sometimes people on other end couldn't hear me.
Summary: I've had to send two of these back to Plantronics as they were constantly disconnecting from my LG VX8300 phone. Each replacement had the same problem. Plantronics service is excellent, unfortunately even though I love this headset I cannot use it as it is too unreliable.
Pros: Excellent sound quality, extremely comfortable, good design.
Cons: Disconnects constantly during the day and transfers audio back to phone, unreliable.
