Summary: I had a Plantronics for the first 10 years of my home office. Last year it failed and I replaced it with several low cost solutions until I couldnt stand it any more. I paid a little more, but everyone thinks the sound is awesome. Intall was a breeze.
Summary: I am pleased with the operation of the Plantronics S12 Corded Telephone Headset System! Plantronics is an industry leader and my headset has lived up to the standard one would expect from them. After almost 3-months of daily use, I can say that mine has performed as expected. So far - so good...
Summary: It works, not much more than that. I still have a squeal when using it, but any other compatibility setting is a total fail. Personally, for the money these cost, I think they need to make a better product. If you don't have JUST the right phone, you will get squeal and or static constantly. Need this for work...going to keep using it...wish it worked better.
Summary: I do like the headset. It makes it much easier to make calls when you don't have to hold onto the receiver the entire time. The noise cancellation also appeared to work well. At least no one picked up me typing on the keyboard yet. My BIGGEST COMPLAINT ABOUT THE UNIT IS OH DEAR GOD WHY IS IT SO LOUD????? I have everything on the lowest volume, and it's still murdering my ears in cold blood.
Summary: I read many reviews that highly recommended this telephone headset. They were very accurate and it is really good. I do not have trouble with noise and it cancels background noise very well. I would like the cushion on the ear to be a bit larger, but it does not affect my comfort level too much! I wear it for 3-4 hours at a time and barely notice it is there...I am really glad that I chose this particular headset!
Summary: I am just starting out with a work at home position and this brand was recommended on our tech specs list. Two drawbacks so far: The box says all the way at the bottom that it is NOT compatible with phones with the dialpad in the headset (hint: that rules out most cheapo everyday phones). This is IMPORTANT info that should be very visibly included in the item description/specs.
Summary: Was skeptical because of the price but it is a very stable device, and is compatible with phones that are not listed on plantronic website. If you experience the squelching you should play with the output volume and input volume along with using the compatibility switches on the side of the unit, took less than 5 minutes from holding the box to using the headset, squelch free. Purchased directly from Amazon for a fraction of the price it is selling for locally.
Works great, but not enough decibel increase for me.

Summary: This was a great product. Worked fine out of the box. However, it did not offer enough decibel increase for me (a hearing impaired person with moderate hearing loss). I returned the product with no problems. It would be fine for someone with mild hearing loss.
Summary: Pros: Works great Clear Audio (in and out) Affordable Cons: Feels a little flimsy and cheap, but sturdy enough that it should serve it's purpose Behind-The-Hear attachment is very uncomfortable, but this might be personal preference
