Perfect all around headset!

Jenea Medina, Amazon
  • Summary: I tried several headsets including the Tritton Kunai, Kama and skullcandy hesh 2.. And none were as comfortable and versatile as this one. It fits my needs well. I wanted something that would be good for my ps3, listening to music on my phone, and mainly good for long conversations on the phone...

Great sound, really makes your game feel alive

Ironchild, Amazon

  • Summary: Great sound, really makes your game feel alive. Was used to surround sound but the quality and amount of sound you get is impressive. So many extra clicks and bangs, all kinds of sounds, you don't even realize they put in the game until you use a RIG.

Too many issues.

Reese, Amazon
12 May 2015
  • Summary: The headset was very comfortable and the boom mic, while non-adjustable, was quite responsive in an indoor setting. After setting everything up (which is a bit of a pain because apparently the headphones themselves connect to the audio output of your sound card while the mic connects via USB port),...

Great looking, great sounding, great fitting headset for gamers!

Kirsten Lynch, Amazon
10 April 2015
  • Summary: I struggled for ages to find the perfect gaming headset. One that had audiophile sound quality, and didn't take an engineering degree to figure out how to use the game chat features. I also wanted comfort.

Definitely not great

AmateurHi-Fier, Amazon
20 March 2015
  • Summary: I had no issues setting this up with my PC or my PS3, and the sound quality was fine. Comfort was fine, the feature of adding a music playing device through the auxiliary input is nice as well, and as a pair of slightly amped headphones, they're okay.

Awesome

Anonymous, Newegg
5 February 2015
  • Pros: The mixer is a great tool. Taking calls/listening to music from your cell phone while gaming (or whatever) is the best thing about it. I also love the breathable ear pieces. The cloth feel makes it feel like your not really wearing them. I was pleasantly surprised how much noise reduction they ha...
  • Cons: Since they are very like it always feels like I'm going to break them if I "man handle" them.

Waste of money

  • Summary: First headset broke, got a replacement. Replacement broke. Waste of money. I'm very delicate with my electronics, so I might get something of quality next time

Update

Justin K., Newegg
13 January 2015
  • Summary: This is a neat idea, and initially I was sold on it. Now I am faced with sending the unit back and going with no headset or mic in my office. This may be a great unit for gamers, but I don't believe it is ready for business primetime.
  • Pros: Still a nice set up. The cans are good and the mic boom produces good sound. The mixer is pretty great, but the cabling is the achilles' heel.
  • Cons: -Weak cabling: I have had 2 cables develop shorts. One was modular so it was an easy fix to detach it from the mixer and replace with a new cable sent by Plantronics. The second was hardwired to the mixer unit itself, and Plantronics insists that I send the entire unit (all of it, cans, headset, ...
