Summary: I use this for customer calls over the phone (a landline). I don't like anything about it. I find it difficult to get situated in my ear and although it hasn't fallen out during a call, I'm consciously fearing it will. My ear will be sore after about 30 minutes and so I'm constantly fiddling with it trying to get a comfortable position. Although I can hear others well, I have been told that I am on the 'soft' side.
Summary: I was excited for this to arrive and try this but was very disappointed when it didn't work on either my iPhone 4S or my Blackberry torch. Thinking I had a defective product, I contacted their tech support who emailed me with this response "The MX500i is not recommended on any iPhone or BlackBerry per our engineers it's not compatible.
Summary: I believe a headset needs to have a comfortable and secure fit, needs to allow me to hear the other person clearly, needs to pick up my voice well and should look good. Fit is barely two stars. It was both insecure and uncomfortable on my slightly large ears. Sound is three stars. Quality was OK, volume a bit low. Pick-Up is 3 stars.
Summary: First of all let me comment upon the good, the function of the device. The earphone sound is fair with the main issue being inability to get it positioned correctly. The microphone is good with clear sound, good placement and great sound isolation. The USB connector was recognized easily and set up without problem in Skype. Unfortunately, the rest is bad.
