Excerpt: Had the M55 for a week now. The sound quality is good and the setup was easy. Problem is that it keeps falling out of my ear. The ear insert is a terrible design. Wish I would have ordered a Bluetooth with the piece that goes over the ear like my last one.
Summary: Excellent reception but the on/off switch is too sensitive. If you barely touch it, such as when you want to adjust the fit of the bluetooth while on a call, you are too easily disconnected. Previous models were much better with the location of the on/off switch. Be careful!
Summary: Its pros of good clear connection, good volume and secure fit out weigh the bad button, but just barely. I would definitely buy Plantronics again (I have used 3 different models over the years) but not this one. I would look for one that looks like this but has an improved button.
Pros: stays in the ear well without the suction effect of the ear bud approach but you get good sound in all but the worst circumstances. I have it with me all the time and often take it off and hang it from my shirt pocket or my t shirt collar. The ear hook holds the unit s well and I have never had i...
Cons: This thing has a super sensitive button that makes calls if a strong breeze hits it! But at the same time sometimes it just doesn't pay attention to you when you try to answer a call by touching it!! VERY frustrating and inconvenient. It is not good protocol to "But Dial" a client!!
Summary: I find the center button gets pressed accidentally often when I am trying to adjust the volume or shut off the device. Other than that it works fine & I find the size of the clear inner ear piece fits better well which is a relief since there are no other choices in size.
Summary: It works fine, except when I try to use the voice dialing. No matter if there's noise around me or not, I find it easier to dial normally than to be frustrated with the inaccurate voice interpretation of whom I'm trying to call. .
Excerpt: Unless the earpiece is in line-of-sight from my iPhone, the sound cuts-out frequently. My old Jawbone had much fewer interruptions. Maybe it buffered more data? Maybe it's antena was better?
I can't find the firmware/software updater program that works with the M55.
Summary: I so much wanted to like this one. Perhaps there are too many features, perhaps this is a knock-off that does not work as well as the original, but whatever it is, I can no longer tolerate the inconsistency. I will either replace with another style, or do without a headset.
Pros: Lightweight, connects to two phones easily, audio is clear
Cons: connections are confusing, phone 1 and phone 2 get swapped, sometimes media audio works, sometimes not. Connecting calls takes so long I hit the button twice, and it disconnects. I sneezed and it called, the button is just too easy to hit. The connect tones are swapped from previous model M50.
