Summary: I bought this today. Charged it for 2 hours and began making calls with it. I could hear everyone great, but everyone had trouble hearing and understanding me. Can't have that. then I began to read the review of others. Should have done so before I went to the store. It was important or me to purchase one that had an ear hook. I have had 3 Plantronics [3xx, 5xx, and the 9xx]. I wanted another Plantronics but I didn't want one that looks like an over the ear hearing aid.
Pros: Synced up with out any effort, Caller is easy to hear and understand
Cons: No one can hear or understand what you are saying. Sounds as if I am in a well.
Summary: The Plantronics M55 has limited range from the headset to the phone. It only stays clearly connected if the phone is 2 to 2.5 feet away. Any further away and it just is not reliable meaning that it disconnects or has broken speech. It does not work well from one side of the body to the other. It even breaks up from pants pocket to the ear on the same side. Putting your arm up as when driving also causes it to break up.
Pros: The headsed has good clear audio both on the headsed and on the receiving phone. Noise cancelling is great.
Summary: The design is nice and the newer versions comes with an additional over the ear hook if you don't like the in-ear piece, but the online ratings of this model are overly generous. Range was awful and often disconnects (on an iPhone 5). Do yourself a favor and just get the M165.
Conclusion: Hadde tidligere lillebror til denne (M25) og var meget fornøyd med den. Denne er derimot HELT elendig. Vond å ha i øret, dårlig samtaleegenskaper. Den andre siden av samtalen klager mye på skraping, og kommer sannsynligvis at den ligger å glir mot kinnet. Batterilevetid derimot er veldig bra. Pen å se på, samt minimalistisk.
