Summary: Bought this headset to replace an identical one which the plastic piece that goes over your head had snapped. The old one lasted three years from normal use which is consistent with most products today. Overall, it works and functions as advertised.
Excerpt: WE USE THIS HEADSET IN OUR OFFICE, IT WORKS GREAT BEACUSE OUR PEOPLE CAN BE HANDSFREE AND CONTINUE TO DO OTHER THINGS WHILE STILL TAKING CALLS AND HANDLING DAMNAGE CONTROL.WILL CONTINUE TO BUY THIS AS NEEDED
Summary: I have been using this headset regularly for close to six months, and I am pretty happy with it. So far the battery is still going strong. The volume in and volume out both seem to be adequate, unlike my last headset, where the other person often had to strain to hear me. I really appreciate the mute feature on this headset, which is turned on or off with a slide lever (rather than a push button that has to be depressed the entire time I want to be muted).
Excerpt: Verh good quality, with a very comfortable fit. Much better than the last brand I had been using that unexpectedly 'died'. Using with both a Panasonic and a Uniden brand portable phones connected to landlines (Neither of which have Bluetooth capability. Audio is very clear and others indicate that the sound is very good on the receiving end. Have tried multiple brands and the Plantronics is by far the best to date.
Summary: We use a Cisco IP 303 phone at work and these work great. It does have the 2.5mm jack which is not the regular headphone jack size. Wal-Mart sells adapters if you need the regular 3.5 size. My callers can hear me better than with the normal handset. I only gave it 4 stars because the cord is very thin and did get to the point that it sounded crackled after a year of use.
