Summary: This has got to be the best headset I've ever purchased. I've tried a variety of headsets ranging from Razor all the way to Steelseries (which has to be one of the worst headset manufacturers, please do not buy a steelseries save yourself some money and trouble). Pros: The overall integrity of this particular model of the 780 holds on its own pretty well.
Summary: I used the 770's and the 777 Gamecom set as well. Plantronics makes fantastic products with which I've been completely satisfied, but let us at least say that when they finally break it's always an ear piece. These babies have stellar sound. If you like your tunes, the bass is crisp and clear for hip hop, and it has great sound production across all ranges. More for gamers, the directional sound is on point. The mic is my favorite part of the new package.
Summary: the headset is a bit too large. Some people may not like its size. I find it comfortable to use the mike deliver crystal clear sound and so do the speakers. For the price you can do a lot worst, actually the set is better than other more costly headphones I have purchased.
Pros: Amazing sound quality, i can tell where the enemies are by the shooting, i know where choppers are instantly, not having to look at the sky randomly looking for the chopper helps alot. Nice mic quality. and the mic doesn't bother muc
Summary: A little background.... I bought these by chance really, not particularly looking for any specific sort of headset... I just needed one. This is honestly my first 'gaming headset', always being able to play games and listen music in a $40 2.1 speaker set... nonetheless, I have had prior experience with headsets which simply were not good.
Summary: When judging what makes a good headset. Three things come to mind. 1.Sound quality 2.Voice quality 3. and most important "Durability"!. I can say without a reasonable doubt that this headset deliverers in all three categories. I cannot tell everyone how many headsets I've been through in my day of PC gaming (well over 13 years). During that course of time I've had a lot of headsets that simply break from normal ware and tear or just sound like utter trash.
Summary: I was looking for a headset in the 50 dollar range when I stumbled upon this. I read all the general reviews and asked my friend since he had this, so I decided to purchase them. They are easy to set up, the drivers install quick. The headset has a really comfortable pad to sit on your head along with the ear pads as well. Microphone quality is excellent and easy to adjust. Surround sound is nice and there's a convenient button to toggle it on and off.
