Awesome, but...

Jeremy F., Newegg

  • Pros: Awesome sound!
  • Cons: The only con I have: my headset usually sits on my monitor when I'm not using it or away. I went to grab it one day, and I put it on my head, and it snapped! They still work, but the right earphone is sort of dangling. I put superglue in the crack and it seems to be staying together but it still feels loose. I wanted to get a refund or new headset via the warranty but it doesn't seem to cover the US (?) I applied no pressure or abnormal usage when they broke, they jus...

Good sound but delicate

Alan M., Newegg
6 December 2013
  • Summary: They are fine if you can treat them like a crystal goblet.
  • Pros: Dolby sound is great and when activated is much better. The sound is very directional in games not only as you turn your viewpoint but also it really seems to be 'behind you' if something is sneaking up on you. Voice chat is very clear, good mic. Very good for listening to music. It does not feel that the speakers are only an inch away from your ears. Fairly light and comfortable, but after a several hours they can start to hurt a little bit.
  • Cons: The image of the headphone shows two pronged metal supports that attach each speaker to the headpiece. They do not extend past the round part to the flat. That point is thin, hard plastic with no supporting ribs. A drop onto the floor from the desk; if it lands wrong, then that part snaps. Guess how I know that.

Great headset, look no further.

  • Summary: Extremely comfortable to wear for a long time, sound quality is great for the price, and adjusts to fit your head perfectly. The only downside is when the action gets too loud, it drowns out the chat, making it hard to communicate at times.

  • Summary: The GameCon 780 is a pc gaming headset that has amazing sound and a good microphone. PROS: *Amazing -and I mean it- Bass and sound. Surround sound is really good. Playing Need for speed and Tf2 with this headset changes the gameplay (in a good way). *Accessible physical controls on the headset. This makes it much easier to change the volume in the game. *Flip up microphone *Good quality recording *Excellent noise drowning.

  • Summary: My husband really likes using these headphones. The sound quality is great for gaming and they fit comfortably on his head. I like them too because they are insulated really well so I don't hear his game in the room when he's playing at night. The ony reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because he wished it wasn't just a USB plug-in, he'd like it to also plug into his iPod.

Great!

  • Summary: Fantastic. unlike the 5.1 in my Living Room, makes me feel like im in a cinema when I watch a movie. Doesent really change much while gaming though which is a pity. The mic is a bit quiet though compared with the cheaper analog version which has a microphone boost option in control panel.
