Summary: The software that came with the headset caused shockwave to crash preventing most websites to be unusable with this headset. I tried it on two computers with the same result. The generic Windows drivers worked, however this prohibits the surround sound from working. Both computers were running Win 7 64. The headset is ridged and not very adaptable to different shaped heads, though not unusable either. The volume "control" on the headset offers no precision.
Summary: I previously used a Turtle Beach X11, so I was looking for a higher quality headset with surround sound as well as USB only (rather than having three plugs: USB, mic, speakers). I typically use my headset for PC gaming as well as the occasional VoIP. After trying to tweak the mic settings for about a week, I still couldn't get it to a usable state and switched back to my Turtle Beach's.
OK sound...very uncomfortable...my personal experience

Summary: Got this headset after reading all the glowing reviews and thought it was one of those "diamonds in the rough." This MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE... Sound is OK...the DOLBY is very "echoey"...because it is "virtual" surround sound, sound seems artificial. What killed the deal was the discomfort in less than an hour of use...also the ear cups never "fit" correctly. Seemed like I needed to adjust the cups, but couldn't really get that proper "fit." Never tested the microphone.
5 months later.. the right side just snapped off...

Summary: OK, so this headset is amazing! I loved it so darn much! I used it every single day until now.. I went to put it on my head (which is not large) and the right part just snapped.. It still works, but I can't waer them anymore. I just kind of lay them around my neck. REALLY annoying. I don't think I can get them replaced either since I bought them back in October =\ Overall, this headset is 4/5. Nearly perfect in every way.
Summary: The headset has very odd controls attached directly to the left earphone, not on the wire like normal gaming headsets. It's almost impossible to mute yourself if you're in a game. it's kind of cheap plastic (meaning when I shake it I can hear stuff rattling). The headset has good sound and good microphone input, however it's not comfortable for daily use. The headset fits like a vice grip and any effort to stretch the headphones out destroys the cheap plastic...
Summary: I had purchased this product as an alternative to a more expensive Logitech G300. I was feeling good about the purchase, until I got them and the driver that comes in the box does not work for Windows 8, as the product info suggests. Returned immediately.
Summary: This headset was broken with in two months and the microphone went first. I was talking to my friend on skype when suddenly "Hello, hello? Hello!??!?!" he was saying. I had to use my mic in my laptop for a while before I can get a new one. The noise was crackling and went awry with in 5 weeks. Very low quality, but if you're gonna use it for about 1 month, I'd recommend it.
Summary: I just received these today and got them setup right away. I fired up Team Fortress 2 and couldn't believe how crisp and immersive these headphones are with Dolby 7.1. I was blown away and couldn't be happier with my purchase. About an hour later I begin to feel some discomfort and proceed to reposition them to a more comfortable position.
