Overall for the Price and the product it is well worth.

Summary: This is a great headset for Pro Gamers, and those who like to hear good sound. The 40mm drivers in this headset give a good bass response. This is the second pair of this product that I have owned. The only downfall to them is over the years the stiff plastic of the headband becomes brittle and from continuous on and off use my headband just snapped in half one day. This could be a manufacturing flaw in the plastic, but you just never know.
Summary: Great headset. I already had the Plantronics Gamecon 367's which is basically what this headset is combined with an USB soundcard that emulates 7.1 surround sound. Does exactly what it says it does and I enjoy watching movies with them on.
Summary: These are a very good quality sound, the surround sound setting aren't quite enveloping I'd hoped but fire a split stereo it's good. They are quit tight on the old noggin & after prolonged use can give a fair sore ear. But I thing the good out ways the bad, unless you really hate having sore ears.
Summary: Lasted about 3 years for me then the USB adapter park broke. They still work, but I obviously lose the USB controller part, so they don't sound as good as they could. I use a razer megalodon now but i'll keep these as my spares.
Summary: I bought the refurb option, and the quality of the product was excellent only one or two minor scratches on the unit. Unit works with Playstation 4 straight out of the box, all be it you will need to play with your sound settings on the console menu. For the price paid the sound quality is excellent (€36 incl. delivery).
Summary: After spending alot of time trying to decide between alot of headphones on the morket i decided to go with these. The product is excellent, although the mic is now faulty just 30 days after purchasing. It is lightweight and really comfortable with a velvety sort of material on the rings of the headphones. The sound produced is good, not amazing whilst listening to music but is amazing in game.
Plantronics Gamecom Headset, Excelent for entry lvl gaming
10 June 2012
Summary: excellent gaming headphones for the price that they were. Being usb it enables you to hook it up to pretty much anywhere that there is an available usb port. Sound quality is excellent from normal to virtual ss.. only downfall that i can think of with the product is that it cannot be worn for extreme periods given it is a rather snug fit and begins to hurt 6 or so hrs into playing.. other than that excellent product..
Summary: These are great headphones, especially at the price. They are comfortable, even on my big head. They are clear and bright with reasonable base. Many phones I've tried just aren't loud enough. These are. Build quality is very good and unusually for headphones of this type the Microphone is up to the job. I've not really tested with many games but those I have, are all fine. They can get a little hot if you wear them for hours, so four stars not five.
Gamecom 777's and XBOX 360 hmm.. possible but problematic
13 August 2010
Summary: Hi, I would just like to say first of all that i really like the Gamecom 777's I have been using them now for quite some time for use with my XBOX 360 for playing my favorite game at the moment Battlefields Bad Company 2. The sound quality I think is excellent and the microphone is also very good and i find them very comfortable to wear for extended periods.
Summary: After looking at ALLOT of different headsets in this price range of £50 or less, it was a difficult choice to pick the right one, but i am very happy with the Plantronics GameCom 777 Dolby Open Ear Gaming Headset overall. having come from a £15 pair of basic open ear PC headphones, i didnt really want to spend over £50 at this time, and my criteria were that they had to be comfortable & give good sound quality. In this case the the Gamcom 777's met my expectations.
