Summary: Wireless headsets provide you freedom of mobility, sure. But you're trading in the ability to be able to talk constantly for that mobility. Keep that in mind. If you don't mind buying one of these every few years or so, get it.
Pros: Great sound quality. Powerful microphone picks up everything. Headset feels comfortable and ear cups block out unwanted noise.
Cons: It fits the definition of "delicate electronics". I'm not rough with my electronics so there was no problem with me having them. Also, the charging cord is too short. I've owned this product for four years and it now takes more time to charge than I get talk time out of it. also, the mic boom has...
Summary: Some electrical tape has kept the headset together for about a year now, but I think it's time for a new headset. This is my second Plantronics headset; the first lasted me about 3 years. While they worked, they were great, but I'm certainly disappointed in the lifetime each headset has had.
Pros: Good sound quality, comfortable
Cons: About two years after I bought this headset, one of the adjustable bars snapped (the outer housing that's attached to the ear piece). I didn't think I was bending the headset in any way that would cause undue stress, but maybe my head is too wide or something.
Summary: I bought this thing in 2010 for just over $20 and the blasted thing still works. And it still sounds great. The actual posts on the jacks are starting to bend slightly from being used so much, and it still pumps out great sound just like the day it arrived.
Pros: Great sound Great pickup on the mic Relatively sturdy Very well constructed
Cons: Mic isn't always easy to tuck into the nook for it The nook for the mic is weaker than the corresponding area on the other side.
Pros: They have lasted excellently. I got these around when Wrath of the Lich King launched (six years ago) and they have had perfect quality the entire time, withstanding high school as well as dorm situations. While I'm not an audiophile by any means, the sound quality is excellent and blows my equal...
Cons: The mic's a bit too sensitive and tends to pick up on breathing. While this is usually fixable with software sensitivity or push-to-talk it can be annoying the size-adjusting band always feels a bit flimsy, although I haven't broken it yet
Pros: Worked pretty nicely until they broke. Twice.
Cons: Started falling apart after perhaps 3 months. Sent back to Plantronics and they sent another headset. 10 months later and the headband broke. (You can read more about it at the Plantronics forum: http://soundingboard.plantronics.com/message/41034#41034 ) I have a pair of Radio Shack headphones th...
Pros: Excellent sound, I actually like the sound more than my friends G35's! The mic is also very good. Surprisingly durable despite the cheap-looking construction, I have dropped them countless times and they have yet to break, and again, they have lasted longer than many of my friends G35's.
Cons: The mic pics up sound from the headset if I have the volume up high, which can be annoying.
Summary: I have after I think 3 years finally killed the sound in mine using them pretty heavily and to the point where listening to bass tracks it is very distorted. If they were still available I would more then happily buy another two of them.
Pros: Great sound for the price, comfy and doesn't cause your skull to feel like you have it in a vice. The cord and volume control on these is the most solid I've ever seen, bulky but durable. The mic tucks away when not needed keeping it from breaking and allows you to drink something without having ...
Cons: The head band has a slight design flaw in that after taking them off and on so many times it finally snaps above the ear piece. Granted I fixed mine on both sides with flexible styrene and some electrical tap to give the head band the need flex it should've had to begin with. And the biggest con ...
Summary: Had them for 4 months and the plastic broke on one side where it bends to put them on your head. I took a look at the other side and a crack is developing there as well. Great headphones but they don't last long.
Pros: Great Audio Inline Volume Control
Cons: Mute Microphone switch gives feedback over VOIP applications Flimsy Plastic
