Great headset

June J., Newegg
23 April 2012
  • Summary: When I first got them I didn't have a sound card and even with the on board auto they were crystal clear but now I have a top of the line sound card so I can't wait to hear them now.
  • Pros: The sound quality is great. It fits nicely. And the mic works well and you can slide it up to hide it.
  • Cons: It breaks kind of easily. My whole side snapped off in less than 6 months. But this time I'm not being cheap and I'm buying them with a 3 year warranty just in case they break again.

Not worth it

Anonymous, Newegg
2 April 2012
  • Summary: Leave the microphone down. Every time you lower/raise it, it wares down the wire. Due to the wire being bent/unbent. Took about 1 year before mine broke.
  • Pros: -Great sound quality -Foam earpieces are comfortable -Easy to clean
  • Cons: -Microphone broke after 1 year due to the poor design.

Perfectly Fine Budget Headset

Matthew M., Newegg
2 April 2012
  • Summary: For you crazy Bass freaks, this is not the headset for you. It offers proper balance of bass and treble, neither is drowned out. If you listen to dubstep and want to feel your brain vibrate, this will not do the job.
  • Pros: Good sound balance Loud Volume In-Line Volume adjuster Hidden and flexible mic boom Good mic quality Solid construction- If you throw it on the ground, it will break, but treat them nice, and they will treat you nice back.
  • Cons: Somewhat uncomfortable for those with large ears such as myself, only becomes a problem after many hours (10-12 hrs on). The soft parts tend to accumulate lint Only available in black/red while the rest of the LEDs on my case, monitor, keyboard, speakers, and mouse are all blue. Not a big deal, p...

Good Sound and Mic - No Build Quality

Jason J., Newegg
29 March 2012
  • Pros: The headsets have great sound for the price, the bass and highs are just right. The mic sounds clear, retractable to tuck into the frame of the headset. Ear muffs are detachable so you can run them through the washer, but the headband is not (They tend to be oil magnets).
  • Cons: After awhile, I noticed the plastic frame of the headset was starting to crack at the joint where you can adjust the portion that covers your ear, and the mic started to become really loose and feels like if I'm not easy on the mic it'll pop out. The volume adjuster is starting to go out as well,...

Nice, Comfortable, Light

Woon P., Newegg
21 March 2012
  • Summary: Fast shipping as always
  • Pros: - Very nice, comfortable and quite light compare to others. (In the past, I've owned a pair of sennheiser wireless). - The cupping is good. It fits my ears completely. And cushion like comfortable. - Good tone, range.
  • Cons: - Because of the material of the cupping, it might caused your ear to sweat. (The materials are like those inside of a sweat pants, very comfy, but does builds up some heat). But it didn't really happen to me, as I normally wear it for awhile, and take rest in betweens.

Excellent Budget Headset

Matthew M., Newegg
11 March 2012
  • Summary: Can't beat if your a gamer on a budget, like myself.
  • Pros: Solid sound quality, not audiophile type quality, but good enough for gaming, and moderate music listening. Bass thumps nice and solid, not so loud you can't hear anything, but its there and you feel it. Have yet to test out mic quality, but my previous mic was an xbox360 one, so I'm sure this ha...
  • Cons: Ear cups are a little uncomfortable. They aren't padded enough, so my ears can easily make contact with the hard plastic inside. Still a very minor concern. I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Died after 9 months

Patti B., Newegg
8 March 2012
  • Summary: The cable is very annoying in how it started to become completely twisted up and the fact that the microphone died after 9 months is annoying but other than that it's a pretty good headset.
  • Pros: Feels pretty good, nice volume control, great sounding microphone and great sound from the actual headset as well.
  • Cons: Microphone broke after 9 months, the headset part still works just fine though so I guess that's a plus. My major complaint which makes me knock off two eggs is that the chord itself tangles up and twists in ways that I could never do even if I wanted to. I've never gotten the microphone cable ca...

Right earphone blown after 2 weeks?

Steven P., Newegg
5 March 2012
  • Pros: it's a nice, comfortable headset. if you like listening to music at a high volume with a headset, then you'll love this one. it can play music pretty loud and the quality is good too.
  • Cons: apparently after only 2 weeks of playing music somewhat loud, the right earphone is blown. any time i play music with high bass, it rattles like it's already on its way out. i'd expect this with a headset i've owned for a while, but come on.

Snapped After Normal Use

Michael S., Newegg
4 March 2012
  • Pros: Quality mic, Cushiony Ear Pads
  • Cons: The left side arc just snapped one day when taking them off. I do take good care of my electronics too. They're not "Circumaural" for me as my ears press against the inside speakers and causes pain if I wear them for longer than 2 hours. Also when using the dial to turn up/down the sound one spea...

Not Bad At All or the price.

Anonymous, Newegg
3 March 2012
  • Summary: You really cant beat this headset for value and quality. They do have some flaws but they are quite small considering the amount horror story's I've read about other manufactures headset's. Remember kids, you get what you pay for, usually.
  • Pros: The Good. Matched with a decent (properly adjusted) sound card, this headset can really perform for a budget set. I was quite surprised to of read about people having sound quality issues. Listen people, on-board audio doesn't quite give you the Hi Def reproduction that a good quality Sound card ...
  • Cons: Now for the ugly. A bit on the uncomfortable side. If you have a melon like an NFL line man, these probably aren't the set for you. The fabric they use for the pads and head piece do collect lint and dust over time. The left side of the headset are starting to make a little squeak noise when putt...
