Buy it as an entry-level gaming headset or as a spare.

  • Summary: Got it as early as it said it would be here, which was a nice surprise. Upon opening, the frustration-free packaging was secure and really easy to break down and toss away. The headset itself came in perfect condition. The closed ear cups envelope your ears nicely.

Good economical headset

Robert S., Newegg
29 January 2013
  • Pros: Well made, headset with good sound.
  • Cons: When new the head set is a bit tight, but not too uncomfortable. I still get a little squeeze on my ears near the back of the headset and they will get sore after a while.

It works good

Anthony G., Newegg
15 August 2012
  • Summary: The color is nice, mostly black with red highlights and the microphone itself slides and folds into the headset which is nice
  • Pros: It is a good headset mic, it is comfortable, has lots of cushions, and it fits around your ear plus it looks nice. Since it is an analog headset mic all you need to do is plug it in and the first time you do that you should mark it as the default recording device and it is set to work
  • Cons: Now it does have some cons, when I first got it and played a game I had to boost the volume by 10% and the next day I played an online game the microphone wouldnt pick up anything so I had to send the company a notice about this and they replaced it for me very quickly So the only con is that the...

Good for the price

Calvin S., Newegg
1 May 2012
  • Summary: If you're looking for nice sounding, good quality headphones with a mic that are gonna cost next to nothing, these are the ones. Just BE GENTLE.
  • Pros: Surprisingly good sound, to be honest. The computer I was running these on was bottle-necking the sound quality being put out, but once that was fixed these babies were putting out some pretty nice bass. Volume control and mute button are nicely placed too, and it even has a goofy little useless ...
  • Cons: Fragile, fragile, FRAGILE! If you get these you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. The plastic is brittle, and they feel as if they'll crack right in your hands if your pushing and pulling on these things too hard. The same thing can actually go for the speakers themselves, too. Don't go pla...

Solid

Douglas H., Newegg
2 April 2012
  • Summary: This is a great headset. Its big, comfortable and not expensive. The problem is that it will break due to the overhead being made of plastic...It DOES feel sturdy, but it is inevitable after 1,000s of hours of gaming.
  • Pros: Big. Fluffy. And has a nice sturdy wire.
  • Cons: Will break around the 1 to 2 year mark

Great Value Headset

Christopher F., Newegg
30 March 2012
  • Summary: Really, this headset is a great buy if you're in a pinch or need a temp. headset. I have no issues with it and it took only a few days to get used to the feel of it on my head. It's very comfortable and has only light pressure applied to your ears.
  • Pros: Great sound quality, long cord, very comfortable, easy to use volume control and mute functions.
  • Cons: Microphone is in a weird place in regards to your mouth, other's may have a hard time hearing you, Wired, stereo only audio.

Great except for comfort

Kyle E., Newegg
20 March 2012
  • Summary: All in all, I believe they are well priced for their sound quality and the attached volume control. The concealable microphone is a nice touch as well.
  • Pros: They sound great, do cancel quite a bit of exogenous noise, and for the most part feel nice on the ears. They are completely circumaural.
  • Cons: The headset is TIGHT. I have a large noggin, and these guys clamp hard on my jaw and skull. Luckily they are well padded, but it still takes a while to get used to the pressure.

Great headset for the money

Megan M., Newegg
18 February 2012
  • Summary: I haven't tested the mic yet but I don't have much need for it at the moment. The volume doesn't go completely to zero when you turn them down all the way. It might just be a slight defect in my specific pair, but it goes quiet enough that it's never been a problem.
  • Pros: They're incredibly comfortable. I can wear them forever without any discomfort. The bass in these things is pretty darn good for the price range. Comfey! They're fully circumaural unlike many others advertised as such. They don't sit on my ears at all. They're super comfortable. They block out ou...
  • Cons: Non-bass range sounds like it's far away, almost tinny. Easily fixed with an equalizer utility, but annoying. These are advertised as closed ear, but sound does still leak out quite a bit at anything higher than mid volume, but they make up for it in keeping outside noise out so you can listen at...
