Buy it as an entry-level gaming headset or as a spare.

Summary: Got it as early as it said it would be here, which was a nice surprise. Upon opening, the frustration-free packaging was secure and really easy to break down and toss away. The headset itself came in perfect condition. The closed ear cups envelope your ears nicely. It keeps the ears warm, but not too hot to where you sweat profusely. My ears are fairly large and still stay inside of the cups.
Hands down, the best headset I've ever bought under $100.

Summary: This is a fantastic set of headphones! I spent a while researching the best-rated headsets online that weren't too terribly expensive. Microphone and comfort were big requirements for me. The comfort level on these are fantastic. The padded ear covers are super soft, and the upper padded portion that rest on top of the head is a god-send.
Summary: I've been using this headset for almost two months and I've put in a lot of hours with this baby to finally write a descriptive review. I mainly needed this for gaming, watching movies and skype and since I've used this in the past I thought it would be the perfect headset giving me the ultimate comfortability and sound. The sound is so high up that I hardly ever go past 3.
Has a good mic, but uncomfortable to wear and poor sound quality.

Summary: The headset looks cool and I like the foldaway mic. My playing partners told me that my voice quality was excellent, so evidently the mic works well. However, I found the headset uncomfortable to wear for long periods, as the headband created pressure and so did the earpods. The headband issue could be mitigated by adjusting the headset every now and then, but there was no way around the ear pod problem.
Summary: I originally bought these as a cheap headset for mainly gaming use. Bought online for $21 shipped. Marketing might say "military spec" construction, but it's not even close. The entire headset is constructed of plastic. I could easily wobble the cups and headband. I'm pretty sure excessively doing that could I could quickly break and detach the cup shells, cable, and headband. There is no metal band in the headband portion, I only wish.
Pros: Very comfortable cups that goes around large ears, extendable boom mic that folds up and flushes with headband, good cabling, not bloated bass
Cons: All plastic construction, stiff cable reliefs, a bit hollow sounding
Summary: I had to buy a microphone so that I could record voice over assignments for an audio editing class. After doing search and reviewing different microphones and headsets with microphones, I chose the Plantronics GameCom 367. It was easy enough to integrate into my settings for Soundbooth CS5. I recorded a voice over track using the microphone that folds out from the side of the earpiece and I couldn't have been happier with the audio.
Summary: I few of my gaming clan mates have these as I tend to go through a headset every few months usually due to a wire breaking in the cord I listened to them and pick up this pair. It arrived a day early and I could'nt wait to try them out. They fit awesome and surround my whole ear so pressure on the actual ear is not an issue like some headsets. The sound on Bad Company 2 really increased over my last several sets. The cords seem much stronger as well.
