Summary: Purchased on a sale some time back for $28. At that price point, I expect that a product will hold up to typical usage scenarios for at lease a year, these did. Use your best judgement and take all product criticism skeptically. Products of higher value go on sale frequently, seek them out.
Pros: Quality of the device is decent sound that can withstand an increase of gain without losing the extremes of the spectrum advertised. (Read: Amplification doesn't diminish sound quality)
Cons: Fails right at expected time, one year is all these are worth. My typical usage of this device was desktop music composition and digital media consumption. I deduct two eggs as a product that just performs "on par" and, for its cost, that is "sub-par" in my value oriented opinion.
Summary: I've had these for a couple of months and for those months they were amazing. One day the right speaker just stopped working... And would work if I wiggled the cord some, and only worked in one position which means there was a fray inside the cable. Buyer beware.
Excerpt: I got this almost 2 years ago and its still going strong just like day one. In fact I'm using it right now to listen to music! this headset is super comfortable and has very good sound. This can compare to my music headsets really well.
Summary: Just a heads up, the Plantronics .audio 355 is the exact same model as this, and is about $12 cheaper. Only difference is this one has cloth ear cushions, and the red trim pieces. Over the past 8 years, I've owned and went through about 6 or 7 of these headsets.
Pros: -As title says, fantastic sound quality with great bass -Comfortable -Good mic
Cons: -The wire build quality, and volume control box -Above ^ x100
Summary: Used PT headsets for years all last only about 11months why they have 1yr warranty. This is worst set ever rather have junk wal mart set
Pros: it fits your head about it
Cons: Sound is a disgrace the cheaper older versions of Plantronics HP have 2x the sound quality. Games cannot hear nothing much. Movies ok if you use VLC media player and boost sound to 150% then they sound normal.
Excerpt: Got it from Best Buy for $20... BEST THING EVER! My brother bot a $60 headset and the sound quality of those speakers are actually worse! Even though it doesn't come with a foam cover on the mic, it is insanely flexible. Just an awesome headset.
