Plantronics BackBeat 903+ Earset
21 May 2014
Summary: The sound cuts in and out constantly. The ear buds don't fit securely to my ears and the strap that comes around the back is flimsy. The strap isn't made of hard plastic so it pulls the plugs that barely sit in place in my ears out when I move my head....which makes these impossible to run with.
Summary: I love the unit's performance, but hate the design of the ear pieces. My left side has cracked open 4 times and I keep super gluing them back. They do not stay in your ears, as the other reviewer stated.
Summary: I never leave reviews, but having owned several pairs of bluetooth headphones I felt it my duty to report that these are by far the worst. I bought these to replace a pair of Motorola S9's that I had for two years and absolutely loved. These had excellent reviews and a similar feature set so I thought I would give them a try. My first complaint is the battery life.
"Decent sound, but a total pain to fit to your ears."

Pros: The sound is good, the construction is good quality and they don't feel flimsy. Good battery life and easy to charge; some cell phone chargers will work, so one less cable to carry.
Cons: Very hard to fit to your ears. They include different size earpieces, but it's hard to get a good fit. And once you do, you have to start all over if you have to take them off. And if you wear glasses, forget it.
Pros: Sound is decent for music and phone calls. Fit is unobtrusive for me. OK controls on headset itself.
Cons: These things didn't last more than a few months. First pair battery malfunctioned. Next pair stopped playing. Third pair began intermittently voice dialing on its own. Considering I only wear them for 4 hours per week, that's pretty crappy.
Summary: I bought these after reading multiple reviews and expected more. The headset gets loud enough and the quality is fairly good. They are light and easy to pair. The problem I had with the headset is the fit. once over the ear I tried to put the speaker in my ear and they just didn't fit. Also, while playing music the user must hold down the volume to change tracks. Changing the volume or changing tracks is difficult because of the location of the buttons.
Summary: Purchased these after reading the reviews from the other users. Was very excited when i got them. The first thing I noticed that they did not fit correctly into my ears. Used them the first time without any problems connected to my Droid X right away, good sound did not cut out but i was stationary at a table to the entire time. The next time i used them phone was on my hip and continued to cut in and out.
Summary: I am considering returning the product since the quality of outgoing calls is extremely poor. Everyone complains of static and many times the other person cannot hear what is being said. The incoming reception is good.
Summary: I would not buy these if you want something that you can use at the gym. A little sweat or water will ruin these. Only buy these if you want a comfortable headset for making calls.
Pros: This is great for talking on the phone, it does take a little while to get used to calls in both ears. I have got no complaints from others that they had trouble hearing me. They are very comfortable and you can forget you have them on. Music quality is alright but they really lack bass and you have to play with them to get them adjusted just right to sound good. You can hear the outside world with them on.
Cons: These are not sweat proof. Mine started malfunctioning the first time I wore them to the gym. They dried out and worked fine for a few more months only wearing them around the house. This weekend I did some yard work and got sweaty again, now there is a hum in the right all the time even when off, and battery dies when shut off overnight. I am hoping to get them fixed under warranty since they are only about 3 months old.
