Plantronics BackBeat 903+ Earset

mhz71, Overstock
23 November 2013
  • Summary: I have used other Plantronics devices in the past and have never had an issue. In fact, that was the deciding factor in purchasing this headset. At the end of the first charge (four uses), the sound began to cut in and out. At first I assumed it was a bad Bluetooth connection due to a low battery. I recharged the device and with full battery power, the sound was even worse-it now cut in and out, but was also echoing.

  • Summary: Turned them on linked them to my phone to listen to music, they sounded great. I turned on the bass boost they sounded even better then after about one minute the right side stopped working. I unlinked them turned them off turned them on again relinked them still the right side didn't work. I spent $130 for some exercise freak head phones better and still going great hours at a time while doing cardio or just working out at the gym.

  • Summary: This headset is the worst I have ever tried. Unless you plan not ti use your hands at all so that you can spend all of your time adjusting the tips so they fit in your ears these are not for you. I bought these with the idea of working out more freely, The design is so bad that most of he time I have a faint sign of music and every other noise out there takes over.

Do NOT buy these!

Alberto S., Newegg
10 December 2012
  • Summary: DO NOT BUY!!
  • Pros: Look good. Light weight.
  • Cons: completely worthless pieces of junk! The maintain a solid audio signal if you keep them right next to the device and keep the device absolutely still. I went on a jog with my device in my pocket of paper thin nylon shorts, they couldnt maintain a signal longer than 3 seconds. I then tried to hold my device in my hand while running, just the slight movement of my hand broke the signal on every step. I could force it to maintain the signal if I held my device up and abs...

benobiwan, CNET

  • Pros: lightweighted
  • Cons: my goodness, i am having constant pain with my right ear, no matter how i adjust the earpiece. I would not recommended this for anyone, unless, plantronics is able to provide the wearer a free trial of 3 days before sales confirmation.
