Easy plug and play, great range and quality

Anonymous, Newegg

  • Summary: I'd definitely recommend these. They're the kind people use at my job, that's how I found them. I chose them because I've witness many people use them for 8 hours a day for a year or more and they still work. And the price is really competitive too.
  • Pros: I've been hunting for good wireless headphones for years. Tried a few bad brands and thought I'd never get something good. But these ones are great. - Very easy to plug and play (Win 7). The audio drivers on my laptop are a bit wonky, but I can plug the USB dongle in and out and the device is rec...
  • Cons: - They fit pretty tightly and can get uncomfortable. That said, I don't mind and regularly keep them on for hours at a time. - Not bluetooth connection. Rather a proprietary dongle. But it works really well.

GREAT Headset!!

bruce b., Newegg
18 October 2015
  • Summary: After a year of various technologies and options for a headset for my mac, these are finally what I was looking for. Wireless, mac skype integration that I can wear all day and not worry about snagging the cord on.
  • Pros: Absolutely no interference from Wifi, sound is perfectly clear with no pops or clicks. Ive used bluetooth, and some other RF brand headsets with no satisfaction as my 2.4/5ghz router is on my desk, and I got a lot of pops, clicks, and extremely short drop outs. This headset, even in 2.4ghz, works...
  • Cons: They are not Over the ear, they are On ear cans, so after a while they can get 'pinchy' as the headband for me isnt Quite wide enough but for normal work day they're fine

So Far, So Good

Mike, Staples
6 December 2014
  • Excerpt: Purchased these headlines to replace a corded pair of Microsoft ones that the cable had gotten run over repeatedly by my office chair. The installation was very easily on my Windows 7 32-bit computer (plug and play). Skype sensed the new equipment and automatically defaulted to it.

Good purchase

Michael N., Newegg

  • Summary: Wasn't sure when I ordered, that this wireless headset/microphone would work with Dragon NaturallySpeaking. Recognizes dictation without difficulty – Exceeds my expectations. Using Windows 8.1. No drivers needed. Follow the instructions for installing and you won't have a problem.
  • Pros: Excellent range, superb fidelity. Using with Dragon NaturallySpeaking version 13 and listen to music/TV through computer line-in. Exceeds specifications – Tested dictating and listening to audio from the furtherest I can get in my house. It still accurately dictates and receives high-quality audi...
  • Cons: Not a big deal but wish it could be used while charging.

GREAT SET OF HEADPHONES

ggbobbo, Staples
23 May 2014
  • Excerpt: THESE Plantronics .Audio 995 Digital Wireless Stereo Headset by Plantronics are a great set of headphones. The only thing I would change is I would like to see the charging wire was a little longer, because if they were longer you could listen to them while they charged.

Sounding right

Donald W., Newegg
31 January 2014
  • Pros: I have a big head and big ears, and I was used to the headphones I have which cover my entire ear, so it took a little bit to get used to these, but they are comfortable nonetheless, the sound is better than my 100 dollar sennheiser studio headphones. With my thyroid / pituitary gland problems, i...

Perfect for the Price

Anonymous, Newegg
25 August 2013
  • Summary: While you can't configure the headset buttons, you can usually remap keys on games to recognize these key presses (honestly how many of you use the P or N buttons in a game). This can allow you for instance to walk away from the computer during a travelling portion or other boring task and still do...
  • Pros: Relatively cheap wireless headset with a few extra buttons that can send keystrokes. Good range: only when I'm towards the other end of my house does it go out of range, if my computer and USB dongle were towards the center instead of one side of the house, I'd probably have full coverage. Great ...
  • Cons: Can't use it and charge the headset at the same time, but several wireless headsets do this as well and should you really be using them/gaming for more than 6-8 hours straight? Extra buttons (Play/Pause and Next) aren't configurable. Appears the driver takes a best guess as to if you have Windows...
