Zack C., Newegg
13 February 2015

Updated - Not for Big Heads

James G., Newegg
21 January 2015
  • Summary: I bought these to replace a wired gaming headset to use at work (because I broke those at the volume switch in the middle of the cord). Apparently, wired or wireless, I'mma break something.
  • Pros: The audio is decent enough for office usage (music, video conferencing via Google Hangouts, et cetera). The wireless range is, for my experience, impressive. I can walk about halfway across the office and still receive signals (music). After coming back in range, the music returns (active searchi...
  • Cons: The right hand side, just a the first inside indentation "setting" cracked today. I left the music playing, but took it off my head gingerly. I've owned it for just under 4 months (bought in late September), so the length is disappointing too.

  • Summary: I used to have a plantronics dsp 500 that lasted me 4 years before it broke. This was not even a full year. I was hoping $50-60 would buy me construction quality, oh well last time i buy plantronics
  • Pros: Decent sound, comfortable to wear for multiple hours, wireless, plug and play.
  • Cons: Sound is okay, I find the bass to be too much compared to the mid levels. The head band snapped after a year of use.

No Listen and Charge, Not Circumaural

James G., Newegg
16 October 2014
  • Summary: So far, I am content; however, I've only had them for about half a month. Participants in video chats (like Google Hangouts) don't complain about the quality, and I hear them usually just fine.
  • Pros: Light. Easy to use.
  • Cons: No 'listen and charge' ability. Discovered while at work with a nearly-dead headset - plugged in after a sync, and audio (in and out) dropped and disconnected from USB transceiver. I have a big-ish noggin, and the headset is not circumaural. I get a little pain on the edges of my ears, since that...

William C., Newegg
5 October 2014
  • Summary: I feel like I have wasted my money on this because it hurts my ears to wear this so I will have to buy another brand that actually fits correctly. The build quality seems good. It has been dropped off the desk a few times without breaking so it seems durable.
  • Pros: Price Ok sound quality Ok mic quality Works with Ubuntu
  • Cons: You cannot use this while charging. You will need another headset to use when you forget to charge this one. There is not enough space for the averaged size adult ear to fit comfortably. The ear cup measures about 1.5 inch x 1.5 inch and the average human ear is over 2 inch long. measure your own...

I would purchase again, their customer service people aren't so bright

theblushingbunny, Ebay
2 May 2014
  • Summary: I purchased this brand and model of headset because of its reputation. Everything I had read gave the company and the headset high praise, so I decided I needed a pair too. The headsets themselves are great!

Consider spending $40 more for something better.

Paul M., Newegg
10 August 2013
  • Summary: For the money, a Logitech G930 is better in every way. Consider a $100 budget for a headset if you plan on using it day in and out.
  • Pros: Not very expensive, has decent range, will last a year if used all day every day.
  • Cons: Battery needs to be replaced after a year, bluetooth dongle is large and tends to be damage prone, Headset radio fails after 1 year of consistent use.

eh...

Ian A., Newegg
29 May 2013
  • Summary: - the way it is constructed is ok. its lasted 3 months now without any signs of it breaking, but i can tell it was somewhat cheaply made, and i dont think it will last years, and i will be lucky to get 1 year from what im reading.
  • Pros: -its wireless.. -battery after constant use usually last about 11 hours
  • Cons: -uncomfortable to wear. had the head set for 4 months and its still uncomfortable. -Biggest issue is that you can not charge it and use it at the same time. although this isn't necessarily uncommon for wireless, especially in this price range, its still very annoying. once your battery dies, your...

  • Summary: Range is ok, Was not expecting it to reach to far will reach from bedroom to bathroom, which is all I was expecting. If you have a desktop that is wired to a router and a good place to keep the dongle safe then grab these if not keep looking else where
  • Pros: good sound I have had a lot of fun going back and playing games just to hear all the depth long battery life 6 to 8 hours depending on what you are doing.
  • Cons: Weak dongle, I transfer these between My laptop and desktop the dongle is already bending, already had to RMA one pair for a broken dongle Lots of noise and blocks wireless signals on laptops
