Summary: I'd definitely recommend these. They're the kind people use at my job, that's how I found them. I chose them because I've witness many people use them for 8 hours a day for a year or more and they still work. And the price is really competitive too.
Pros: I've been hunting for good wireless headphones for years. Tried a few bad brands and thought I'd never get something good. But these ones are great. - Very easy to plug and play (Win 7). The audio drivers on my laptop are a bit wonky, but I can plug the USB dongle in and out and the device is rec...
Cons: - They fit pretty tightly and can get uncomfortable. That said, I don't mind and regularly keep them on for hours at a time. - Not bluetooth connection. Rather a proprietary dongle. But it works really well.
Excerpt: Really easy to use, and the sound quality is great, however it does have a few concerns: Firstly - it uses mini-USB for charging. This has generally been abandoned in favour of micro-USB, mainly due to its vulnerabilities in cracking under pressure when continuously inserting/removing the cable.
Pros: Easy To Use, Great Sound Quality, Quality Microphone
Summary: I have a friend with this same headset and he's had the mic when positioned up to mute not mute. Luckily nothing embarrassing happened but I wish there was an actual mute button at times. And as I mentioned, wish there was a little app that could warn you when the battery was getting low.
Pros: Decent range after moving the wifi dongle up away from my tower/monitors. When it was plugged to the back of my tower only got about 20ft. When moved up to beside my monitor I got about 30ft and with it up on the hutch of my desk I get 40-45ft. Battery life so far is good, get 8+ hours out of it....
Cons: Wish there was a battery level indicator so I knew if the battery was low and to plug it in to charge. Currently it just will drop with no warning and no auditory clue of why. There also seems to be a slight delay in the microphone. When my wife and I are in a skype call and in the same room she ...
Summary: Im updating my review to 4 stars, as for us Mac users, Skype does not feature any kind of Sidetone option in software so you need to find hardware that does it. These DO NOT. And as such with 2 earphones, you cannot hear your own voice, and end up yelling/shouting.
Pros: No interference from Wifi, long range, good battery
Cons: There is no sidetone / foldback on this model, and according to Plantronics rep, no model they make.
Summary: After a year of various technologies and options for a headset for my mac, these are finally what I was looking for. Wireless, mac skype integration that I can wear all day and not worry about snagging the cord on.
Pros: Absolutely no interference from Wifi, sound is perfectly clear with no pops or clicks. Ive used bluetooth, and some other RF brand headsets with no satisfaction as my 2.4/5ghz router is on my desk, and I got a lot of pops, clicks, and extremely short drop outs. This headset, even in 2.4ghz, works...
Cons: They are not Over the ear, they are On ear cans, so after a while they can get 'pinchy' as the headband for me isnt Quite wide enough but for normal work day they're fine
Excerpt: After using a BT headset, a logitech gaming headset and a wired headset because the other options always had pops, click, and drops, I asked here if anyone had issues with WiFi interference as my router is on my desk. Customers said no, so I decided to try these. And am I glad!! They are GREAT!
Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Use, Great Sound Quality, Interference Free, Quality Microphone
Summary: I was looking for a good wireless option for my SIP phone users. We were using sennheisers but my users kept damaging the wires by getting them caught under their chairs. I think I will go with the Logitech h600 instead.
Pros: good range. Noise canceling
Cons: They are bulky and hurt my ears. They feel stifling and make my ears sweat.
