Summary: Purchased the headset to improve customers ability to hear me more clearly, and to be able to hear them better while using softphone with work. Headset does not disappoint. People I speak with regularly immediately noticed the improvement and my ability to hear was much better as well. Good, comfortable, quality headset for the money.
Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Use, Great Sound Quality, Quality Microphone
Summary: Warning to those who do not know: If you do not have a sound card that supports USB sound connectivity, do NOT purchase any microphones or headsets that run on USB! These will not work unless you plan on purchasing and installing an all-new sound card in your computer that will support playing & recording audio via USB port.
Summary: Bought this headset to replace another brands behind the neck headset that was uncomfortable to wear for long meetings. The use of this Plantronics headset is comfortable (usually use for two hours at a time) and sound quality is good.
Summary: Replacing this headset with anything but Plantronics! Pros: Great brand name! woohoo! Cons: 1. Volume button failed and is either totally on or off 2. Headset does not have enough tension to stay on my head, and I do not have a small head! 2A. Because of #2, the speakers don't rest fully on ears making sound more faint. 3. Size adjustment slips and slides requiring repeated adjustment.
Summary: I have had ongoing headset problems because of my progressive hearing impairment. Originally I purchased the Plantronics Foldable USB Stereo Headset intending to use it on my laptop with DNS 10. I decided to try it out with my desktop PC to see if it gave me better sound quality than the headset I have been using. In one word: WOW!! I can now hear clearly my DVDs, audio CDs, internet radio, etc.
Summary: I think I've looked at 50 headsets of microphones and these are the only ones that I could find any review on that did expressively talked about speech recognition.ease of use is exactly right I plugged them in and ran them through check your audio system signal-to-noise rating with the USB I received 16 reading when I removed the USB and just jacked them and I got a rating of 22. My spouse had some good ones but not as good as these.
Summary: I bought this set to keep in touch with home when I went to college, in August 09. It is very comfy and convenient, but I was always leery of folding it up and taking it anywhere, because it seemed so fragile. As I feared, less than a year after use, the wire began separating from the volume control box/clip. It still functions now, but sometimes during my calls, the microphone stops working and I have to fiddle with the wire and disconnect, then reconnect the mic jack.
