Summary: I bought this because some time my Audiotechnica noise canceling headphone get in the way and some times hot. These are small and light but do not cancel noise as much as the over ear headphone but I already expected that.
Pros: Smaller, light, great quality
Cons: does not cancel as much as the over ears headphone but that is expected, the wires are not detachable so if damage you can't replace it
Summary: Everybody is different in terms of fit and preference- for me though, I really like the sound and fit of these (with or W/O the noise cancelling turned on). I prefer a moderately heavy bass with good mids and highs that are not overpowering to the point of being shrill and "hissy" (w/o equalization). These fill the bill quite nicely. I must admit, now that I have heard these, I would be tempted to pay full price, but the 90 day warranty would make me nervous.
Pros: Nice balanced sound. Comfortable. Noise cancelling works well for mid/low freqs. Good as normal buds (w/o NC turned on). Monitor button to cut sound and NC (to hear somebody).
Cons: 90 Day Warranty per Pioneer Customer Support.
Summary: Amazing sound quakity for the price, add to that anc and you have one hell of a deal. Sound compares favorably wwith my S4's and my Sennheiser iem's.
Pros: Noise cancellation was much better than I had anticipated. Extremely comfortable. Got them for $35 with an eggsaver deal, much better sound quality for that price lin addition to having anc included also.
Cons: Minor point, I would have preferred if the battery compartment/control was located at the end of the cable, more towards the source so you might be able to put it in your pocket along with your audio device. Definitely not worth deducting an egg over though.
