Are my ears shaped weird?

Anonymous, Newegg
29 July 2013
  • Summary: Definitely still a "Buy". Some of the best sounding earbuds you'll find for a reasonable price.
  • Pros: Excellent sound for $20 earbuds. Don't expect them to blow your mind, but they certainly beat iPhone buds any day. They're bassy, but not overwhelmingly. Bass - 5/5 Mid - 4/5 High - 3.5/5
  • Cons: I've never had earbuds fall out of my ears like these do. They feel very comfortable, but if I'm moving around at all, they'll fall out every 10 minutes. Running is pretty near impossible for me with these. Could just be my ears, but take it for what it's worth.

Design, Quality, and Performance.

Kwanghyo L., Newegg
8 November 2012
  • Summary: One of the best sounding earphones I have owned to date. These are definitely worth the money; especially through Newegg promotion, in which you will receive these at around $20.00. It has an appealing design with easy L/R differentiation.
  • Pros: -Lightweight -Great design -Comfortable fit -Good sound quality -Color differential for L / R (if you don't mind the red/black) -Decent cord that untangles easily after some use
  • Cons: -Plastic casing (durable regardless) -Connector end looks very cheap (could have unified design)

A good cheap earbud is hard to find

CKent, Newegg
21 October 2012
  • Summary: How stupid are people in reviews? We actually have one guy complaining about "hiss" as though your earbuds create any sound! It's no wonder so much junk gets sold, buyers include lots of really dumb folks, apparently.
  • Pros: Price. Build quality (the thick wires.) They look expensive if that matters to you. They hang in your ears playing basketball, my basic test for fit. All earbuds sound about the same on high bitrate mp3s, and none of them get lots of low end (it's proportional to how tight they fit.) Too many use...
  • Cons: We shall see. This is the type with removable ear plugs, which can be lost if they tend to come loose.

Nice headphone

Andrew M., Newegg
7 October 2012
  • Pros: Nice headphones, sounds good. I didn't have the weird bass issue that others have described.
  • Cons: After you take then out of the packaging, the wire is all curled from being in the package. Takes awhile for it to flatten out.

Pretty Great

Cory M., Newegg
28 September 2012
  • Summary: For the price I feel as if I got my moneys worth. $40 dollar earphones and using them everyday for 260 days? Less than 15 cents per day. Pretty good deal if you ask me.
  • Pros: I really enjoyed these earphones a lot, I've had them since 1/9/12 and they've been through a lot. They're pretty excellent at noise canceling and if you have them in without listening to any music a noisy bus becomes a low murmur.
  • Cons: It's been almost 10 months since my purchase and now the left earphone has gone out. Kind of disappointing but I kind of expected something similar to this happening. I don't believe I can return them as it's past the policy. The color of the headphones can be kind of off-putting. Kind of similar...

Nice

  • Pros: Great low/bass sound for a small earbud. The cord is longer than average, which makes them great for running.
  • Cons: You have to stick them down in the ear canal for the bass to sound really good.Uncomfortable for me at first, but after you wear them for a while......you start to get the feel.

Excellent Buy

  • Pros: Durable and comfortable, these headphones provide excellent sound for the price. The color makes it easy to remember which is which. They stayed in my ears during an intense workout.
  • Cons: Color may seem ugly for some users.

Pioneer SE-CL721-K

Edward K., Newegg
15 August 2012
  • Summary: Overall a good value. The colors are really cool in my opinion.
  • Pros: Decent resonance. Bass is there but not too punchy. Price is right($19.99). They look great(red/black). They appeared to be well constructed.
  • Cons: Not quite the quality of Sennheisers but a fraction of the cost too. Speakers are relatively small. Bass on Senn's much tighter and more powerful.

Great headphones at a great price.

Connor D., Newegg
12 August 2012
  • Summary: My Skullcandy Smokin buds are much more clear and deliver a much higher quality of music. But for 10 bucks you can't beat this pair. I would definitely buy these again.
  • Pros: Deep bass that hits pretty hard. Ear buds are quite comfortable. Wore them on a long car trip with no discomfort. Good-looking. Oh so wonderful price. $10 at the time.
  • Cons: Sound quality is not what I expected it to be. Even though the bass is great, highs and mids are not as strong, clear or crisp. They feel light with cheap materials.
