Summary: An absolutely excellent deal for a quality set of headphones. Supremely comfortable, with a cord that is extremely well built and plenty long. Give it some time for the bass to open up, once it does these headphones are really one of the best options at the $60 - $80 price point. Great mids and highs, with enough bass extension to let you feel the impact of the music. Used primarily for music (vinyl, SACD, DVD-A, CD) but it has seen some use in my theater for gaming.
Pros: Comfortable, Good Bass, Good Value, Great Sound, Stylish
Summary: These headphones are my first once with the open style and I think I could not get better once for this price. The quality of the sound or even the headphones themselves is fantastic and you can enjoy every second of listening to music on them. I would recommend these to anyone who is looking for light, well built, great sound quality in their headphones.
Pioneers well kept secret. Amazing high end sound.

Summary: I've got Senn 595 and 650's. I delved deep to find forums on these Pioneers and they are exactly as people have raved about them. They are definitely on par with the 650's for sound stage, undistorted high volumes. The are better, yes better for detailed mids than the 650's with superb full bass that's not muddy or rolls. I hate ear piercing trebles. Non of that with the Pioneers. Clear, slightly veiled vocals, but non fatiguing. Some say the headband slips?
Summary: these headphones are amazing, the are very loud and give you full and rich sound. the only thing i find is they dont provide as much bass as i want and the cable can be a little annoying as it's so long.
Summary: I cannot stress enough how much these headphones give you more than you are paying for. I would recommend these as excellent sound reproduction on a budget scale (and will get better with use) Bass lines are respectfully reproduced and as low as 10hz... I can't emphasise enough just how good a range that is. It's low and you probably wont hear it, but its there.
