Mighty headphones

Evan, B&H Photo
16 February 2012
  • Excerpt: Great bass, comfy, the headphones exude style and quality and they sound great off an ipod or a dedicated setup. Sound is muddy compared to higher end audiophile grade headphones but these sound quite nice for urban music. They are my fav portable cans .
  • Pros: Bass, Easy To Use, Excellent Sound, Professional Features, Versatile
  • Cons: Little muddy, Tad flimsy

  • Excerpt: I've DJed for many, many years and needed some new headphones for my mobile system and these work pretty good. Very stylish and light. Only negative is they don't fold up like my old Sony Studio Monitors that I've used for years and they don't have a carrying case.
  • Pros: Easy To Use, Excellent Sound

Great Headphones For The Price!!

DMAN, B&H Photo
3 February 2011
  • Excerpt: These headphones are great! The look, the feel, they are definitely the best bang for the buck. I also own technics, which for me feel very heavy, but perform well and are built like tanks. These feel very solid and have the perfect DJ pivot on the right cuff making them very comfortable to wear.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Bass, Good Value, Stylish

" Great for DJ'ing and Listening "

JimboSpins, Audiofanzine
26 February 2013
  • Excerpt: The Pioneer DJ HDJ 500 K headphones are a pair of closed back DJ headphones that have a 40 mm magnet driver and removable cable. These headphones are very affordable and that is probably the only reason I chose to give them a shot.

" Up and Down "

JimboSpins, Audiofanzine
7 October 2012
  • Excerpt: The Pioneer HDJ-500 are a set of DJ headphones that cost 99 dollars. The padding on these headphones are covered in leather and they are very comfortable. These are the most comfortable headphones that I have ever used under the 150 dollar mark. The style of them is ok, nothing to special.
