Pioneer HDJ-500 Headphones Review

DJ Booth
23 November 2011
  • Summary: In conclusion the Pioneer HDJ-500’s are some great headphones for the price. The Pioneer HDJ-500 headphones have good overall sound quality, they come with two types of cables, they are very comfortable and lightweight, and they have a cool rotating right earpiece. The only really minor issue I have with these headphones is that they don’t completely fold away for traveling and storage like some of the others are able to do.
  • Pros: Great Sound Quality, Removable/Replaceable Headphone Cables, Straight and Coiled Cables included, Urethane pads for Ears/Headband with Real Leather, Rotating Right Earpiece
  • Cons: Great Sound Quality, Removable/Replaceable Headphone Cables, Straight and Coiled Cables included, Urethane pads for Ears/Headband with Real Leather, Rotating Right Earpiece

  • Excerpt: I for one month, just in a hurry because I broke another, but it will clear quickly! I tried and owned many headphones, either low-end or high-end, and issue sound quality, Sennheiser some 20 or 30 €, even without being clear, are more pleasant to listen ... This is unfortunate because otherwise the build and finish...

"Great for DJ'ing and Listening" - JimboSpins

26 February 2013
  • Excerpt: The Pioneer DJ HDJ 500 K headphones are a pair of closed back DJ headphones that have a 40 mm magnet driver and removable cable. These headphones are very affordable and that is probably the only reason I chose to give them a shot. Costing only 100 dollars, I was looking for a pair of headphones that would be great for DJ use and general listeni...

  • Excerpt: The Pioneer HDJ-500 are a set of DJ headphones that cost 99 dollars. The padding on these headphones are covered in leather and they are very comfortable. These are the most comfortable headphones that I have ever used under the 150 dollar mark. The style of them is ok, nothing to special. The sound quality is very good, highs are clean, mids ar...

  • Excerpt: I use it every day for several hours a day. 9 months I already bought headphones less than 50 € But quality has nothing to do. What I like most about this headset is its design and its detachable cable, but also the sound ... What I like least, his large black dot is the exaggerated bass. Who are real...
