Summary: Comments about Pioneer HDJ-1000 Headphone: Another great set of Professional DJ headphones from Pioneer. Better drivers than the original 1000 series and they come in new stylish colors. They sound a lot better than a lot of other DJ headphones I have used while playing.
Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Durable, Good Bass, Good Value, Great Sound, Lightweight, Stylish
Summary: The Best DJ Headphone I've found so far. Yes it sounds closed, but it is a CLOSED headphone, so what do you expect? For mixing, it outdid the Sony V600 (of course), Sony V6/7506, Sony 7509, and Ixos MOS DJ1000 (dispite what Hi Tech Magazine said).
Excerpt: How long you use it? I use it for nearly 8 months What is so special that you love the most, least? +: It's the fact that it serves the well head, his look, the stereo / mono switch in order to isolate a title mix, you can put in all positions imaginable (it is very flexible)
Excerpt: How long have you use it? About 3 years. Have you tried many other models before buying it? Just a headphone stanton first prize. Not really what I used as a reference, this is my first Pioneer high-end headphones.
Excerpt: I use it almost every day for 4 years. I tested a dozen other headphones (AKG, Denon, Numark, Skull Candy, Panasonic, Sennheiser) before acquiring the Pioneer HDJ-1000, including headphones HDJ-1000 bought on ebay and found to be be a forgery.
Summary: we all no of the scum on ebay and the like that sell a product under the disguise of being genuine...i unfortunately had this experience and the headphones purporting to be the real thing were crap..
