Summary: My first good set of IEM, and I gotta say they sound pretty good to me. For my preferences the comply foam tips, offer the best in sound quality allowing better isolation and better bass. The Grey filters they come with sound delicate, detailed, and spatial, organic and open sounding for what I was expecting.
Pros: Very nice sound customizable with filters, comfy.
Summary: Upgraded from (a lot) of sony low/mid end earphones and headphones to SRH840, the sound was ok but the fit was aweful. Was looking for a small good quality earphones that was not very expensive. These fit the bill perfectly.
They disappear in my ears - I just hear the music and forget about the earphones. Clarity at low volume is amazing. Not as much bass I am used to with sony and M6 earphones but I like the no booming bass of PFE112 to other earphones.
Pros: Fit. Excellent sound with Black filters directly from my iPhone.
Cons: Filters need to be replaced - not sure how often or how expensivce they are.
Summary: Do I like this IEM? Yeah.
Do I love them? Nope.
PFE is a single BA IEM, which possess, IMO, the stereotype signature of BAs in the market. The sound signature is about clarity, balanced, and non-fatiguing. While the headstage is quite narrow, the bass is anemic. It's more for casual listening, and well, I'd praise its comfort design.
Summary: Out of the box I found clarity of the midrange and highs to be as good as the best, but the bass was a little thin. Having tried the supplied filters, I went on audeoworld.com and obtained a set of the green filters. Perfection!
Summary: If you're looking for an overwhelming bass response, these IEM's are not for you. That's not to say they can't handle bass, they can, just not to the standard many wish for. What the PFe 112's do best is clarity and without a doubt they fulfil that without a hitch, certainly in comparison to other IEM's in the price range.
Summary: I had almost given up on earphones, consistently dissappointed, these were to be my final purchase. Pro's 1.on-the-ear design - I can wear them for 3 hours solid, without issues 2.easy on the ear sound. I listen to alot of folk music, and could listen all day long 3.well built. they are light (therefore immediately feel cheap), but the cable is exceptional and I'm sure they'll last a good while (with care) Cons 1.No bass.
Summary: These earphones are just FANTASTIC!!! Excellent clarity and comfort, great range of accessories and SUPERB build quality. In terms of their sound quality, you are given the earphones with two sets of filters included in the accessories pile, 2 black and 2 grey, though the first pair of grey is already fitted inside the earphone. At first I did not think that I liked these earphones, so I changed the ear filters, and WOW.
Summary: These earphones are great: they have a helpful 'guiding' plastic section, shaped to go round the outside of the ear (you can take it off if you don't like it or are in a hurry to get them on), and the quality is good. Super for listening when you don't want to disturb those around you as well.
Summary: These are amazing. I've only had these 10 minutes and I'm really impressed. I listen to music everyday and am very particular about how my music sounds. These have the most amazing sound separation ever. I'd read reviews from other people saying they'd heard things they hadn't heard before when using these headphones and they're right. The very first track I listened to suddenly revealed so many knew elements that I'd never heard before.
Summary: Ever since being introduced to the Audeo brand, I've never looked back and continue to be amazed by their excellent sound quality and comfort. Whereas my previous set of earphones frequently fell out of my ears when exercising or making sudden movements, the PFE 112s are kept in place with stable ear guards. I quickly got used to wearing these over my ears and would now choose these over any other type of earphone.
