Summary: Great sound - for thirty minutes - then the left ear went to about 10% of the right. Has been mentioned in some reviews on here already. Check out ebay - there are lots for sale with a left ear problem! Sorry Phonak - these are pants!
Summary: For everyone who has lost sound in one of the buds, this is perfectly normal. You just need to replace the filters as they get clogged through normal use. Phonak do a poor job of making this clear. I nearly threw away my Audeos before realising this, and now they are as good as new. I dearly love my PFE022s but you should take care if this is a new purchase as replacement filters are getting hard to come by since Phonak stopped making headphones.
Summary: Buy these if you're happy to expect a few months use. I bought these in 2012, had a few months light use before the sound faded in one of the ears, replaced them and the same fault developed. The construction is obviously not robust enough.
Summary: Phonak Audeo PFE Perfect Bass 022 Earphones with Microphone After I bought these a week ago, I read that Phonak had stopped making earphones. After listening to these earphones my concern changed to feelings of relief at having bought them before they became unavailable. The have a beautifully, smooth, clear open sound. However, I found the sound recessed, and my iPhone 5 could barely drive them to decent levels.
Summary: I too bought these based on the excellent reviews. They have good audio quality but after 9 months of very light use, the right ear bud is just emitting a tinny sound and is about 1% of the volume of the left ear bud. The 30 day return window has expired to return these. This is criminal.
Summary: Contrary to the name, these are gutless, unimpressive headphones with negligible bass and a very cheap feel. You will find many better products for a lot less money, and many considerably better products for the same money. Avoid.
Summary: I'v only had these for a day, but I already love them. I had Tour Beats by Dre before these, I'm not saying ones better than the other for sound quality because id say they're about the same (for bass anyway, these seem slightly clearer for acoustic style music, also Alternative music seems better on the Phonaks). But for the feel and the built quality, the Phonaks are far better, they feel so much better.
Summary: I bought these in-ears after reading overwhelmingly positive reviews on Amazon and in the respectable HiFi press... but I am very disappointed with them. I listen to a range of genres from jazz to folk/acoustic to heavy D&B / electro. I am a big hi-fi and music fan so quality headphones are really important to me but I am not a serious audiophile, so that may be why my opinions diverge with many of the previous positive reviews!
