Pros: Ive owned these headphones for about 4 years. These light weight headphones are built to last. Extended use and storage in my pack does not warp the band. The cloth cord material prevents tangling and allows them to be packed up neatly. The length is also ideal.
Cons: The reflective material on the back of the band is nice but it does flake away.
Summary: -I don't really believe the 12-24Khz specs on these, but they do sound much better than I expected. I have the Sennheiser HD201 and they sound quite nearly as good. Extremely glad I decided to buy a pair of these after having good luck with them 10 years ago in an earlier iteration.
Pros: I owned a pair of these about 10 years ago and they have made some great advances in the hardware. Just tested these new ones with my reference speakers, and they are surprisingly flat considering their slim profile and excellent price -Very comfortable behind-the-ear design, sits in the nook of ...
Cons: -Thin, yet woven cord could be prone to really, really bad knots if you keep your cable disorganized. -The elastic cable safety guard does not safe you from big yanks, although that is to be expected.
Pros: Great sound quality and I have owned several of these for years and years. I have tried to blow out the speakers on these and I failed. Between new-eggs price and the quality it makes an eggcellent purchase!
Summary: I've owned a set of these for quite a while, but lost it. I was very happy to find this on newegg. If you are looking for good headphones at an affordable price, I would recommend getting this. I use it on my phone for music while working, on my computer for music and games, and also for skype.
Pros: Wide range frequency response. Not only do these headphones produce lower base than most, but they also go higher than other headphones in this price range. Comfortable. I can wear these all day with no discomfort. The wire is ultra flexible, and sturdy. It's also very easy to untangle if it ever...
Cons: Does not have a mic. If this badboy was a full headset, it would be perfect.
Summary: Bought 3 of them to replace all my family's old ones, at $12/ea ($10 Newegg discount) you can't really beat the quality for the price. If you want headphones that sound perfect without an equalizer, you should probly look at something else.
Pros: 1. Good bass without having to crank the volume. 2. Comfortable. 3. Can hear what's going on around you without having to remove the headphones. (could possibly be considered a con as well, but not for me)
Cons: The mid-high frequencies are just a tad louder than the rest, so these headphones are slightly off level in the equalizer area.
Summary: The cable is extra long and outer wrap is fabric, probably stronger than plastic.
Pros: Bias alert: I prefer Philips headsets over all others. This set was no exception, comfort and clear sound. Later I noticed that the cloth cover on the arch is reflective. This is a plus to me since most of my listening is on a bike. I am thrilled.
Cons: There is a restraining cable to protect the wire from damage if snagged. If it were anchored closer to the conductor it would be easier to change the disposable higienic cleansing pads I use to cover each earpiece--the rubber bands are harder to get over the two connector points. Trivial matter.
Pros: These are probably the longest lasting headphones I have ever purchased. These lasted for about three years, which is alot longer than any other pair of headphones I have owned. Headphones will break at the joints, (where the cord meets the ear piece or the cord meets the jack) and it usually hap...
Cons: Couldn't find any when I went back to the store I got them from ended up with some bad Nike ones with the same design except ear buds instead of the headphones.
