Solid cubicle headphone

Matthew H., Newegg
18 April 2012
  • Summary: I use these in my cubicle at work to listen to music all day. They work perfectly for that purpose. I don't have other experience with these than that.
  • Pros: Comfortable, seemingly durable, easy on, easy off
  • Cons: Cord not so long, sound quality not great

workout headphones

Ernest S., Newegg

  • Summary: This is the second set of these I've owned. I use these while i exercise. I can't find anything that stays on my head better for a comparable but I have different set for serious listening.
  • Pros: stay on my head while jogging better than anything else I've found
  • Cons: sound bleeds out because it is difficult to get these snug, sound quality could certainly be better

Acceptable Headphones

Anonymous, Newegg
10 November 2011
  • Summary: I have owned logitech gaming headphones and though these are clearly not up to those standards, they are very nice for all your pc or MP3 needs.
  • Pros: - Came as advertised, Very comfortable, and sturdy design for a "cheaper priced" pair of headphones. Sound Quality is very clear and has a wide decibel range for volume. Great for listening to music, blogs and even gaming. The reflective rim of the headphones show up really well if you exercise in the evenings and are concerned about safety.
  • Cons: Cord is somewhat short, however this can potentially be a good thing if your like me a constantly run your chair over the cord.

The best for the price

Shawn M., Newegg
7 October 2011
  • Summary: If you want great sound for a cheap price, these are the headphones to buy.
  • Pros: -The best sound quality from a cheap pair of headphones -The cable is flexible and durable enough to take a little bit of a beating -The pull relief works well for the top portion of the cord that goes into the ear piece -Each set lasts me 1-2 years (mostly from me being extremely careless with the cable)
  • Cons: -As others have stated, after wearing them for a prolonged period they start to hurt the ears. -It could use pull relief where the plug is at, that's where I always break the cable -I personally prefer the older model which hasn't been made for a looooong time

User Review

3 August 2011
  • Summary: If you're just casually listening to music these are great! however if you're an audiophile.. stop being cheap and look elsewhere!
  • Pros: I've had these for yeeeaaars. I bought them one day at target and the build quality is great for the price! I've tormented these things over the years and they've never frayed due to their threaded cord weaving and safety cord at the left ear piece.
  • Cons: The sound quality isn't that great. (You get what you pay for in that sense). Can be uncomfortable if you don't find the sweet spot.

Great

daniel h., Newegg
22 June 2011
  • Pros: Great sound quality and bass. Long, durable cord is really convenient and the little bungie to keep any pull on the cord from damaging is a great add.
  • Cons: Although the sound quality is great, everyone around you will be able to tell too. Doesnt do much to keep your noise in, which is inconvenient for me because i bought these for the office but still great headphones. All behind the head headphones can be uncomfortable and make your ears a bit sore after a while and these are no exception

Great sound and it hurts your ears at the same time

Ernesto R., Newegg
8 January 2011
  • Summary: Newegg as always a leader in shipping...good job. Especially when I needed to replace it my broken one before my day at the gym.
  • Pros: These headphones are great for many reasons: - Not a high-end headphones(like bose, beats by Dr.Dre, and etc.) but it sounds great even at the gym. - The cable has a threading that shows great quality and durability. - These headphones got a nice design. - When in use I can feel the bass coming out of the headphones which makes any song output with clarity. - I got this item for $14.99 plus free shipping. Reasonable deal.
  • Cons: The only con that bothers me to remove an egg when a long time of use it can hurt your ears. I had to take a break and remove it from my ears for a couple of minutes.

Does the job

Chris V., Newegg
25 December 2010
  • Summary: -1 Egg for Durability
  • Pros: Heading into my second pair of these after having a previous one for about 2 years. While durability is a question, for the price and for the comfort factor it is quite worth it. I'm very picky about my headphones/earphones when listening to music, and these are comfortable, have the right cord length, and the cord doesn't get in the way.
  • Cons: The neckband is their most vulnerable spot, and if you abuse them too much you'll end up snapping them just like I did before. Works great for in the gym, but as hinted to previously, prepare to need to dry them off regularly if you want to keep them in good condition, sponges indeed.

great bass, small package, low price

Stephen B., Newegg
10 December 2010
  • Summary: The ONLY thing, and this is minor, is that the speaker covers are like sponges, so take care to dry them if you work out with these :)
  • Pros: GREAT bass response for such small speakers: down to 12 Hertz! The cloth covered cord is a nice touch too, it doesn't tangle and stays over my shoulder when I'm working out with them.
  • Cons: None so far.
