  • Summary: Good earphones...except...most earphones come with a MINIATURE jack attached; this one has a micro-miniature jack. I had to go to Radio Shack and purchase an adapter, so I could use the plugs! This is absurd. It doesn't make much sense to get a good deal on the plugs...then, pay MORE for the adapter than I did for the plugs!!! Hey Phillips, how about making the plugs with a MINIATURE PLUG....you know, the one that almost all other's use.

They're flexible but lack in sound quality.

  • Excerpt: After reading the description on the back of the package, I figured the Philips Comfortable and Secure was exactly what I needed. After trying them on, however, I realised although they are soft and flexible, they will NOT stay on my ears when exercising because my ears are to small. They are definately not made for bass lovers; yet they boast, " Bass pipe acoustically tuned air channel turbo-charges bass notes ".

  • Summary: Pros: They are comfortable and they fit in my ears well. Cons: 1.) If the cable near the plug bends or twists at all, the earphones go dead -- I have to make sure that the cable sits at just the right angle for these things to work. 2.) The rubber seals around the bud part don't stay on. This is my second set of these headphones, both had these problems and the new set has them after less than two weeks.

too many other options to settle

  • Summary: Understanding that these cost me a whopping [$], I am still disappointed, but I am also satisfied with the product. The sound is surprisingly good. However, you get what you pay for. These might be the most uncomfortable earphones I have ever worn. I feel uneasy wearing them because they also feel is if they will fall off at any moment.
  • Pros: Good sounding
  • Cons: Falls Off/Out Of Ear, Flimsy Construction, Uncomfortable

  • Summary: I have small ears and have wasted money on many sets of earbuds, trying to find something that won't slip out. This was yet another waste of money. The over-ear hooks are way too big and they are some kind of floppy rubber. I thought that the soft rubber hooks would be more comfy. Nope. They're so soft they pull off with the slightest tug. I seriously wanted to like these. I will say that they have amazing sound for being so cheap.

  • Summary: It might just be me, but these head phones are rather hard on the ears. The hooks would not go round my ears unless the earphone was pushed into my earholes (which wasn't possible). I had to return it and buy another brand.

  • Summary: Apparently, I must have small ears. These are better than the standard IPod earbuds, but still slip out of my ears when running. Not as irritating as the earbuds; but I wish the ear wrap part was adjustable. They are comfortable other than that, and the sound is good. I would recommend with the warning about ear size!

Not the best

AM85, Argos

  • Summary: The ear-pieces are far too large and don't go inside the ear cavity, resulting in quiet sound. Maybe I have oddly shaped ears but I have never had problems with other earphones but find these uncomfortable and quiet.
