Excerpt: I have been using these for over two weeks now and am satisfied by what it has to offer. At ~600 INR these are decent headphones. The bass is good, treble not so much. I have used them for prolonged hours and felt comfortable doing so. Being on the lower end, they are not meant for audiophiles but the general masses can enjoy their music without burning a hole in their pockets with Philips SHP 2000.
Summary: I got a pair of these a while ago, and theyve got great sound, very comfortable. The bass is very good. Only problem is that the jack connector is AWFUL - mine corroded and fell of in about a week. Since then, Ive had to solder two new connectors on. Unfortunately, its for this reason that I cant really recommend them. Unless you like soldering.
Philips SHP2000: Only if you don't mind the noises
3 August 2010
Summary: Since we have our computer in the living room where we naturally spend a lot of time and also watch the television speakers on the computer were not an option (well at least most of the time). We have had many old headphones in use (from disc-man, MP3 player etc.) but they were all of low quality and failed pretty quickly. It was time to buy proper (cheap) headphones. These were at a fair price and they looked good.
