Good for the price

Brandon C., Newegg
22 April 2015
  • Summary: I bought these because a friend of mine has a nice over-ear set and It had amazing bass, which is what I like most, but these didn't impress that much, but for the price, I can't complain.
  • Pros: Decent Dynamic Range Decent Bass(with help from hardware driver equalizer, like realtek manager) Amazing volume, it can handle most of what you throw at it Really good value for the price
  • Cons: Cord is far too short, needs to at least be 5ft The band adjustment is not very tight, moving your head the wrong way can lose your adjustment. Too much bass is a bad thing I suppose, but if you get the bass to high the clipping is literally earshattering.

Very comfortable and good audio

Andrew Hill, Amazon
  • Summary: Crisp clear audio and very comfortable. I have been revising for university exams so have been wearing them for 8hours+ a day for the last few weeks. I have had no issues with pain or discomfort which I often have with headphones.

Excellent value headphones for people who like a neutral sound.

Scorchio "LM", Amazon
3 May 2015
  • Summary: At the price these really are superb, but it all depends on what you are looking for. When I listen to headphones (or any audio product) my main focus is usually on how well you can differentiate between different parts of the music.

excellent headphones

Bibblekit, Amazon
9 February 2015
  • Summary: Bought for my teenage son who's very particular about his headphones sounding right and feeling comfortable. Success! he loves them & they've stood up to being taken to school regularly & used for music lessons & on the bus, so they must be quite robust too.

Not recommended

Atticman, Amazon
31 December 2014
  • Summary: I've never been a particular fan of Philips products - they always seem to be lacking the quality of other well known brands like Sony and Panasonic. These headphones conform with my perceptions.

Not good value for money

Champak "Hundalz", Amazon
19 December 2014
  • Summary: Not as expected, but given proce tag, I would expect little bit better qulaity of product. Clearly disappointed by the looks and feel of the headphones though practically they sound better than ear pieces and provide better noise production.

I found these to be excellent in day to day use

A. J. Sudworth "tonysudworth", Amazon
1 December 2014
  • Summary: I found these to be excellent in day to day use. It took some getting used to from using in ear phones but the round ear design was good from insulating you to any external noise but were small enough not to feel too clunky. The sound quality is very good (mind you my ears are 50+ years old..

Good for intended use, not so good for me

gerryg, Amazon
18 November 2014
  • Summary: I've always found in ear headphones to be not much use for listening to speech, classical or jazz in public places, particularly long train journeys. So I gave up I'd not used over the ear for years so these were an ideal opportunity.

Boom Boom Boom

SuPeRsOnIc, Amazon
17 November 2014
  • Summary: These have fantastic sound. I am not an audiophile (hope thats the word!) but these do sound good. They are comfortable on the ears - nice cushioning. They look cool! But do they feel cool and nice and luxurious--> I am afraid the answer is NO, but hey ho, at this price I wasn't expecting much in...

Sound quality makes up for bulk!

J. Dawson, Amazon
9 November 2014
  • Summary: I tend to listen to podcasts on bus journeys, so in the past I have always gone for earbud-type headphones but thought I would give these a try. They are obviously much bulkier so a bit more of a pain to carry around.
