Excerpt: My boyfriend bought me Philips SHL3000 Headphones as a birthday present and I’m delighted with them. They’ve got everything I want from a set of headphones and they are not very expensive so I think that they’re an excellent value for money. I prefer over the head earphones rather than in—earphones so these are perfect for me. They have big and soft ear cushions that cover the whole ear which I really like.
Summary: These headphones come at a great price. They delivery great bass and sound quality, better than the Sony headphones. They also look slicker with the pure black colour and shine. The design of the headband ensures that the headphones are attached firmly to your head without discomfort to prevent slipping. These headphones also provide some noise isolation which I love. These headphones have it all. Delivery time was also very quick: within a few days.
Summary: I may be tone deaf - but I can't tell the difference in sound between these phones and my studio AKG 240s. The AKG's are possible more comfortable and better material build quality, but these phones have a bargain price ta, sound great and are worth every penny. Recommended.
Summary: Good sound. Fit is a bit tight if you have a big head, but fine for people with normal sized heads :) Headband is made of plastic that squeaks when moved, but generally not a major issue once they are on. The ear part is also plastic (as opposed to leather) and thus a bit less comfortable. However, for the price they are good value and look higher quality than the price.
Summary: I usually heard a lot music with my mp3 and I always put the headphones in all places, backpacks, handbags, under the bed, I use them for run...everywhere. I have had them for months and they're still working very well, the sounds is good, they're comfortable and the resistance is very good. I'm very happy with them, good sound quality and long life, perfect.
Summary: When earphones are advertised with powerful bass that's what you expect but these fall a bit short on the bass , sure they're good enough but not a good as my old Sennheiser HD414 pair that I had in the 1970s. But for the price they're adequate and comfortable but I wish manufacturers wouldn't make spurious claims when they should be concentrating on value for money not pretending to provide performance they can't deliver. However that said they're still good value.
