Summary: The quality and construction of this earbud is good. My only problem is the uneven lengths of the right and left earbud. The left earbud is way to short. I cannot clip my mp3 player into my pocket and wear the left earbud and I'm an average 5'10 (ok 5'9&1/2). The right earbud is supposed to go behind your neck but I end up just wearing that one alone. I can wear the left earbud by clipping my mp3 player onto my belt but then the earbud slips out frequently.
Summary: This IEM is definitely the best bang for the buck! Basshead person should purchase it without a doubt. Even it's higher brother, Philips SHE9800 didn't able to match the sound quality of this IEM! :D
It produced very deep punching bass and high definition clarity on mid and treble. It feels like you have your own built in sub-woofer inside this IEM! Comfort to use in a long run, but not designed to use when sleeping though.
Pros: Excellence deep punching bass (feels like there's built in sub-woofer) with high definition clarity on mid and treble. Comfort to use in a long run.
Cons: The right monitor somehow died after one year of usage. Broke in two parts as the glue in its case wore off in time.
Excerpt: "Last night i bought a pair of new earphones. I saw them and thought that due to phillips being a good brand, that i would buy them and try them out. I thought they were quite old but earphones never go out of date. After fitting them togethre, let me tell you i was not disappointed. I havent heard such good bass for such a low price. They may be cheap but they are perfect for on the go long distance travel. I love how comfortable they are in ...
Summary: Before buying the Philips SHE9700 I only used the headphones which come with the MP3 player. This is also the first time I decided to buy In-ear headphones. I must say that I'm impressed. I'm not a 'high-end' user, so I can't give an expert review, but I can say that the quality is pretty good. The bass is much better than I previously had, which is pretty good. Also it isolates the sound around you. I usually listen to music on my bike.
Pros: Comfortable when wearing, low price, sound quality
Summary: Philips SHE9700 are earphones which offer "high definition sound". The product comes in quite an attractive box which has a little mini booklet at the top which states that it has features like angled acoustic pipe design which allows the sound to go directly into your ear canals. Once you open the pack, which is rather easy thanks to cardboard on the back which is marked and tears open at a specific location so no fumbling around with scissors!
Excerpt: "...here. Recently I bought the Philips SHE9700 for only 9,95$ in a local store. The only reason I bought it was the low price. Believe me or not, these are my new reference for on-the-go audio! They are very good and clean sounding, with tight, deep bass response and crystal clear highs. The mid-highs are a little coloured and upper bass can be sometimes bloomy with acoustic jazz double bass, but this earphones are very easy to equalize and then ...
Pros: Nice and clean overall sound, very deep bass, crystal clear highs
Cons: A little coloured in the upper bass and mid - high frequencies
