Great sound, lousy build quality.

Dan, Amazon

  • Summary: For the money they are great sounding headphones, but mine are literally falling apart on me! Where the wire connects into the headphone is coming apart and I am starting to set a static pop and the headphones cut out. The previous Philips headphones I purchased never had any quality/sound problems (Until they suddenly stopped working!).

Still better than most in this price range

M., Amazon
24 January 2015
  • Summary: Good earphones for a reasonable price. I've had better ones before but I paid the corresponding price, so I think these ones being lower in price match their quality. The noise isolation is not very strong and the bass richness not very apparent though. If you're looking for earphones to take on the plane or any other loud place or with a deep and rich sound I would recommend to look for different ones.

Excellent - well worth it

Billy Ted, Amazon
14 September 2014
  • Summary: I have rated these highly because the sound quality is very good and design is well thought through. The top half of the cable is made of rubber while the bottom is that non-tangle material. I've tried ones where the cable is all non-tangle and found they produce a lot of noise when you move that gets conducted up into your ears and renders the headphones unusable.

Good sound, poor design

Pete, Amazon
22 June 2014
  • Summary: The sound is good - deep bass with good response on other frequencies. My main criticism is with the resilience of the plastic surrounding the top of the wire connecting to the bottom of the earphone - this is very thin and the plastic cracked within a few weeks of using them, exposing the copper beneath. I repaired wth super glue but this area cracked again.

Provides excellent noise isolation for a quality sound even at lower volume.

D. C. Stolk, Amazon
25 May 2014
  • Summary: The SHE9000 Philips in-ear headphones are provided with a pair of Comply foam tips that mold to your ear, thus providing noise isolation so you can better enjoy the music. Also, 3 sizes of rubber caps (small, medium and large) are included, so you shouldn't have trouble getting a good fit. The cable, which has a length of 1.2 meters and ends in a standard 3.5 mm gold-plated jack plug, has two distinctive finishes.

Brilliant

Marcin Anszczak, Amazon
18 May 2014
  • Summary: These headphones are perfect for the price. They have a very nice sound quality and are very comfortable to wear, even when you wear them for a long time. The actual headphones are small and not heavy, so they stay just fine in my ears, also they look really nice with the metal housing. The bass is rich and deep, and does not overpower the song. The clarity of the headphones is very good, you can hear everything with these.

Good sound but...

Amazon Customer, Amazon
15 May 2014
  • Summary: Not the most comfortable over long periods of time, out of the box if you're too forceful putting them in your ears they don't work and I have to take them out and fiddle with the wires.

  • Summary: Very happy with product. I dont disturb anyone else while on train or bus while I listen to music and dont need to turn up my music to hear the smallest sounds to the deepest bases. Ear plug headhones dont fall out of my ears during my time running at gym. the cloth coating on wire means it doesnt tangle.

Right Bud Stopped Working After 1.5 Months

Sam H, Amazon
10 April 2014
  • Summary: No heavy usage at all and well cared for yet the right ear bud stopped working just 1 and half months after purchase. This of course falls outside of the returns policy - brilliant. The sound quality is good, but if its going to break literally from being in your pocket is it really worth purchasing? No. Give this a miss and go for a more sturdy product.
