Summary: I've owned many pairs of these as the bass sounds amazing through these. The only frustration is losing the buds as that seems to be the main reason I buy a new pair. Only 2 pairs have broken (out of 7 I have owned) the rest lost buds. The broken ones were through shear everyday use for hours and after 2 years (both took over 2 yrs to break) they started to wear at the connections, so even then it was understandable.
Summary: Great sound from these earphones from Philips but one star less for it's hard to see which side is which I mean left or right, you need to have good light to see I had to mark it with bit of red paint on the right side
Summary: Good sound, but the in-put jack isn't the greatest. I'd recommend to anyone how like Philips headphones or anyone how has a low budget, but there are some better headphones out there for less...
Summary: Been buying Phillips surround sound headphones for about 7 years now. The only problem with them is that they become useless after you lose the rubber ear pieces. Luckily I never lost any from my last pair, they just broke after 2 years use. Also the sound quality from my replacement pair was better than my old ones so they do need replacing after a lot of use. I hope Phillips still sell these headphones in 5 years time.
Summary: These have got a good sound, but as they are open at the back, they do let in ambient noise / sounds - eg on the tube (which is quite noisy) they are not great. But in the office, where you might want to listen to music but not be completely oblivious to what else is happening (eg your colleagues need to get your attention every now and again, or where you need to hear your phone ringing) they are good. Assuming you don't have a very noisy office.
