  • Conclusion: The easiest way to unwire your phone for use with any almost any headphones on the market – and a very respectable all-in-one solution on their own.
  • Pros: Turn your favourite audio ear-warmers into a fully-featured Bluetooth media hub with this subtle stereo smartie. The small pendant lets you stream sounds from your mobile and acts as a hands-free headset, controlling calls with a touch of its button – or even voice-dialling through its built-in microphone. The SHB7100 will automatically pause music from any (AVRCP) phone when a call comes in. The in-ear phones that come with it sound natural enough for daily commuting...
  • Cons: The lack of noise-cancelling on the inline microphone can mean that anyone you’re talking to gets an earful of bus and Tube chatter – or that you just end up shouting to be heard. The main control button on the pendant could be less finger-hostile, too.
